Super 8 Fosston — Hotel in Fosston

In July our family from McIntosh held a family reunion and we stayed at the LePier Lodge (about 10 min drive). I was in a double queen room with my 20 yr old son and it was very comfortable for both of us. Air conditioning was wonderful, beds were very comfortable, in-room microwave helpful for late nite snacking. Only complaint was that our bathroom was quite small but we made due. The complimentary breakfast was ok. I’m a very health conscious eater with a strict diet so it wasn’t so helpful to me, however there really was quite a nice selection for my son (oatmeal, waffles, donuts). This place is very clean and has a decent cont. breakfast with good coffee. I was impressed by the amount of cable channels available with dvr like features-you don't find that in most motels of this size. Air conditioning works extremely well. Only drawback is their ice machine, which doesn't really work unless you stand there for 15 minutes trying to fill up a cup of ice. Stayed there for three days and tried it everyday. Plenty of parking and nice grounds with dog area and a picnic table. The bar and grill next door is pretty good as well...

We have stayed here when it was a Super 8 and loved it. With the change in ownership, was concerned the attention to upkeep & cleanliness might have suffered. I needn't have worried. Everything is as nice as before - clean, comfortable, quiet and well maintained. The breakfast was ample, even without omelets and sausage some hotels offer. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again when...
