Came up for a mini vacation & to get together with some family. I am so happy this place ended up being available AND pet friendly. It is most definitely saved & will be booked again. Communication from the resort & Stacy Alley was so easy, answered all questions & gave a bunch of resources. We stayed in cabin 6. It was small & didn’t have space to store things, but it was still cozy. It rained most of our short stay so our small cabin ended up having the 2 of us our 3 visiting family members & 2 dogs crammed inside all day. But with the large windows we listened to the rain, had an amazing view of the lake & played card games all day. It was perfect. I look forward to bringing the rest of my family up & maybe renting a pontoon the next time. This will for sure be a place I go back to.

We had a great stay in cabin 9 which was easily accessible to the party store right next door and the boat launch was right across the street so our Goldens could swim. Close to the golf courses and food as Clear Lake bar around the corner had great food. House was clean and I felt comfortable. I loved the fenced backyard and that is why I went with this location for my Goldens BUT was highly disappointed it was not closed in in 2 spots. Why have a fence and allow pets and you have it opened on both ends? Did not like that at all as I had to constantly watch em even tho I rigged up chairs they are smart escape artists. I would close those in if I owned this house! Thank for a great weekend😊

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in the main cabin at Clear Lake Resort for an annual birthday getaway with my best friend and our partners. It's perfect for two couples, with access to the hot tub. Hot tubbing outdoors in the middle of winter is the best and the view of the lake makes it even better! The cabin is clean and offers the staples of a good kitchen - we didn't need to leave the property for anything our entire stay! And the fireplace on the deck makes the perfect spot for some Irish coffee, bundled up in the great outdoors. Love the spot and check-in/out is a breeze. Thanks for being great, Greg and team!!!

I would not recommend this cabin. We stayed in Cabin #6 for one night and were looking for a simple evening away. The outside looks nice. However, the inside is extremely outdated (circa 1970) and the water has the smell of Hydrogen Sulfide (e.g. rotten eggs). We waited until we got home to get a shower because the smell was so bad. I used bottled water to brush my teeth because I didn't want to smell the water. The bed was fine but the the sheets were in need of replacement and in some spots was nearly worn through. The television did not work correctly. The remote would not switch between stations, so we had to manually use the dish network box. When we left in the morning, the sidewalk and the parking lot were a complete sheet of ice, so bad that we had to walk in the snow to keep from falling. Overall, I would not repeat the experience. We drove two hours to experience a cabin feel and wondered if we would have been better staying in a random hotel and watching...

Cabin #2 in close proximity to several others. Oven width approximately 14" wide if your going to cook, be advised. Bathroom door opening is low, doesn't lock, shower height also low, door leaks from hinge side despite all the caulk, bring extra towels. Limited hot water, make showers quick. Fridge out of level doesn't chill well, bring a cooler and ice for perishables. No pictures...the phone went in the lake, as well as our friends, their phones, keys and the dock they were standing on 😳 A sign limiting number of guests? (Or up-grade the dock) there are 6 boat slips, I would think it should hold at least 6 people? Cottages are adorable, very clean, almost everything you need is there. If you're prepared...it's a great spot with numerous amenities to enjoy the beautiful lake, a little adjusting would make this gem sparkle! No questions regarding damage/loss of phones etc...it was a pricey dip. The caterpillars dropping from trees were everywhere, we...

We had a thoroughly OK time at the resort. The cabins are small, and close together, and the bathroom walls don't go to the ceiling. And it had the teeniest shower I've ever used. The cabin was clean, and neat, and had a nice up-north feel to it.

If you are a smoker, or have a barking dog, this is THE place for you. If you a smoker with a barking dog, you should consider moving here.

The porch was a nice place to relax and read, and look at the lake. Unless the smokers are out, and then you should move. But their beach, while small, was quite nice. Only a couple of chairs, but it's a nice place to sit and watch the boats go in and out of the water all day.

The best time was the kayaking, which we rented from the resort. We paddled around for a while, including to a little island for a picnic, and enjoyed the company of locals doing the same. We were never in any danger of being run over by jet skis or pontoons, probably because we went out...
