Great place for food & drink! Not your typical bar food. The pizza 🍕 & spaghetti 🍝 are outstanding & plentiful!

Me and my friends discovered this hidden gem 💎 this summer on our way to Higgins Lake. Not too far from Logger's Depot in West Branch, which is our favorite place to stop on our way to Higgins Lake annually.

The atmosphere is very country like. Not really for kids, but we were welcomed with open arms by the staff even though they knew we were out of towners & all the local patrons there were friendly. Kinda like that hole in the wall place, but if you like that kind of place, you'll ❤️ it here! There is also a digital juke box with any song your heart desires if you want to hear music 🎵 🎶

The owner/manager Brent is extremely nice 😊. He took the time to have a great conversation with us & even gave us complimentary drinks on the house for our generous business & kind words.

Best pizza in clear lake! 😉 But in all seriousness, I’ve never had a bad meal from here and the staff is absolutely phenomenal. Even if you’re not a local, they still have a way of making you feel like you are. It’s become a tradition to stop at least once every time we come in!

Edit- This is no longer the same CLB we once knew and loved. Stopped in on a Sunday night at 8:30pm to an almost empty bar and was told by our waitress “pizzas and grinders only” which was a disappointment. Same thing happened last time we stopped in and we ended up splitting a pizza and left unsatisfied as the pizza didn’t have the same impact it once had. My family and I had enjoyed the bar for many years. Now not so much. The menu is very limited from what it used to be. Now the menu is more like fast food rather than the great variety it once had. The waitresses are great but the food takes forever. I have been there twice in September and in August 2021 and both times there was an issue with our order. Both times requiring one of our guest to eat alone after waiting for their meal to be re-made. The bar once had the vibe of rustic dive bar with vintage photos and taxidermy. All the character is gone replaced with a stripped down boring atmosphere of cheap beer mirrors. The pool table which was always fun now shares a cramped space with a boutique hawking CLB clothing.
