It wasn't unsleepable, but it is really bad. I can't speak of breakfast, because I was unwilling to eat anything in that building. As for the rest, here goes:

I arrived around 9pm and was surprised to learn that on a Monday, they only had one room left. A suite, of course. The manager was very nice and gave it to me at 99 dollars. It is regularly 130 dollars. There was a very nice new lady, learning her job from the slowest, most unconcerned, rude without being mean, old, crotchety woman I have ever met. As I was waiting for them to finish with the woman in front of me, 3 people already renting rooms walked up. One asked for toilet paper (REALLY!?), the next asked for a plunger (oh, my), and the last came to complain that their television was broken. This all happened in the 10-15 minute span I was in the lobby. I knew that my night was not going to be great.

The suite was located at the end of the building on the first floor, NEXT TO THE EXIT DOOR. I was constantly woke up starting at 6am from people talking and slamming that door. It probably wouldn't have been that bad if it wasn't for my door being extremely warped, letting in light and sound. The room was pretty big, and the bed was actually quite comfortable, except for the pillows which were too hard, or too soft. One consistency they shared was lumpyness. The sheet had a small blood stain on it which looked fresh but I didn't want to think about. The air in the room was stale and everything seemed not quite clean, coming across random hairs every time you reached for something. For a 130 a night suite, it was extremely plain. No refrigerator, no microwave, no usb ports. Not even an alarm clock. Side note: every other Super 8 room I've ever rented, suite or no, has had a fridge and microwave. There was a coffee pot on a huge counter, making me think that it had all of these amenities at one time, and a telephone. There was a old couch and a coffee table facing the wall where a very small television was mounted to the wall. The television was fixed, so you couldn't turn it to watch TV from bed. You had to sit on the couch. If you took your shoes off and walked on the carpet, it felt like what I imagine walking on an open faced peanut butter and jelly sandwich would feel like. THE ROOM HAD A JACUZZI! I guess this is why the room is so expensive! It is old, chipping and not quite clean, but the jets worked and the water was hot. All and all, the room was sub par in every way. But, hey. I had two rolls of toilet paper, and never needed a plunger.

I recommend driving the extra 10 miles or so into Colorado Springs to find better options. Exit 138 (Circle...

For anyone wanting to travel and stay at a hotel i do not suggest going to the super 8 in fountain they are so unprofessional.i used to live there and had a problem with everyone that works there. Vicki was never at the desk she was always in her room shooting up,having people over or yelling at people over the phone during work hours she even threatens guests in public when they arent living there anymore.Tanae was always going into rooms drinking beer and smoking and having friends over behind the desk during work hours. Jessica the "manager" was running a daycare behind the desk everytime her kid ran away she would leave the desk to go chase after him and then would get locked out of the office so she had to jump over the counter.paulia hid our mail that got delievered there we kept asking if we had any mail and she kept saying "no there is something for a pamela anderson" note that my mom's name is pamela jones and the mail even had our room number on it! The mail was important because it was my mom's social secruity card thats how we were gonna pay our room.derome gets high all the time and hits on guests i am 15 and he told my mom "the girl you are with is hot" my mom is like uhm excuse me.marty declines payments for our room when we had someone else trying to pay it he said it was already paid when it wasnt.there is bed bugs in the rooms and the maids dont even really clean.they say its a "family friendly hotel" but the truth is it really isnt something bad is always going on there and its full of druggies and...

Location great if need to make stop for night & set up for making delivery near by or u have ur equipment in shops near by.. Rooms slightly out dated, most Super 8 ,i been too are current with new technology in rooms. Like phone charger plug ins, plus Location rooms wall paint peeling.Kinda sad gotta use 2 promotes to run tv!! Plus side on my visit, staff was amazing from start.1st nice over the phone when I was 6 hrs out from motel. 2sd shower pressure decent compared to other locations. 3rd A/C ran great , never stopped running with temperature had it running, plus no noise from it like it's about to stop.. 4th kinda 2 sided on due to , location stated had truck parking availability on property, in which they did.. Just others on property like paving company, crews parked anyway they wanted in the bck of property!!! Barely made it around them to get back on street & park in front of motel..I'f I was "" OWNER / MANGEMENT "" If large company using my property, and had lots of equipment & knowledge of that others coming in having larger equipment and was told parking was allowed on property in bck.I would talk to that company leader of crews staying there, to be thinking of others that might need to park in the bck of property..Lining up vechiles in front on the street 1st then start on the right of entrance to to the office to middle of bck parking lot against building. Opening middle row & bck row for others..besides parking matters,...

This place is crazy. A male employee was kicked out of the room right next to us after he'd been paying 25 a day just to stay but was 2,000 behind, after said employee checked us in at 4am working a 16hr shift. Now he lives across the street in the bushes with a bike. He still works here, too. A female employee with an ankle wrap who is visibly limping was cussed out for complaining that she was called in to work on her day off. She's been working almost everyday of this week. The Indian woman who cussed her out (they call her 'Beebee') was at the front desk when we had to switch rooms because our original booking was screwed up and we got the wrong room. She asked if we were done moving out. We had a few minor things left. She interrupted me as I told her this with a hand motion that meant, simply, "Hurry the hell up," with the rudest expression, all the while complaining because we wanted our original room that we paid for. There was also a pimp and two strung out women with him. The staff complained about their room daily, especially because they kept checking in and out every day. The pimp had a speaker connected to a chain around his neck and constantly listened and rapped to his music. It was very amusing.

This is a difference of night and day between this Super 8 and the last one I stayed at in El Paso. These people are outstanding Troy and his sister Kayla are great host at the front desk. Mike is the go to guy and super great guy. Outstanding location right by Fort Carson in beautiful Fountain, Colorado and down the street from the Tomahawk truck stop. The showers were hot the AC / Heater worked wonderful the beds were very cozy had a great set up in the room. The fridge and microwave worked great TV was very nice and a big TV to. They have continental breakfast as well just wish they had biscuits and gravy though. Overall I highly recommend them and they have semi parking. Wish I had taken pictures of outside and more of room but trust me they are great !

I thought this Super 8 was okay. It's a place to spend the night if you're in the cold. But if you're waking up expecting a good breakfast don't even think about it. They don't offer anything but waffles and old cereal that they leave out. And if you want to snack from the vending machines, well just look at the pictures. The staff was great and the rooms were nice. They're not located next to anything good so if you spend the night here make sure you bring your own drinks and your own food. I might have to skip this Super 8 next time I find myself and Fountain Colorado
