I would warn anyone against visiting this motel. It's by far the worst we've ever stayed in and it was overpriced at that! I wouldn't even stay there again if it was really cheap, but we payed about $236 for two nights. The door of our first room had a gap between the door and the doorframe (at the lock) so it would've been very easy to open from the outside, even if closed, so we asked for another room. The very nice lady at the front desk (only positive aspect of our stay) gave us another room, which had a pretty big gap at the upper side of the doorframe (no privacy), but so be it. The room was very small, which would've been ok, but it was filthy (under the bed, dirty headbord, towels, sink, shower had a big ball of hair that was NOT mine, pretty much everything but the bedsheets was dirty) and about nothing worked or was already broken (toilet, which always made noises and filled up way to much, several lights / lamps, apparently second door lock, bathroom countertop). The bed was too short for a taller man and the sheets were scratchy and rough.
Unfortunately we were really tired when we arrived so we just took the room. I wish we'd just left, asked for a refund and spent our money elsewhere. We cut our stay short because it was so disgusting. Don't trust the pictures! I'd rather spend a bit more money elsewhere or drive a bit longer than to stay at this motel.
The owner promised us a full refund and 1 1/2 months and several reminders we still didn't get anything and aren't able...
Read moreHow to rate this place? So much depends upon one’s expectations, no? |The place is not in the park, but then, it doesn’t ask for park lodging prices. |The hotel is a little worn around the edges, but then, so were some of the rooms we stayed in that we’re asking double the amount, or more. |The room and bedding were clean, the beds and pillows were comfy. The area is so nice and quiet and dark at night. We could turn off the ac, open our window and get clean, fresh air. This is a treat that surpassed the other hotels of our trip. The toiletries provided were also much better than most of the places we stayed, many of them fancy places, asking much more for the night. |The strange part of our stay here was that we never met anyone who worked here. No one at the desk at check-in, We picked out an envelope with our name on it, room key and phone number inside it, instructions to call if there was a problem. Again at check-out, no one in the office, instructions to leave your key in your room. No biggie, just a bit odd.|There is a New Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot. We were sorry to have already eaten, I’m sure they have good food. It looked and smelled good. We...
Read moreOn October 6th, 2023, we checked into the Bryce UpTop Lodge located in Bryce Canyon, Utah (1152 UT-12, Bryce Canyon, UT, 84764, USA) for a three-night stay. The condition of the two rooms that we rented was atrocious. • The room’s floors were very dirty with hair, dead bugs, and other debris, especially the corners. • In one of the rooms the toilet was so dirty that there was mold inside the bowl. • The corners of the toilets where they connected to the bowl were very dirty with dust and hair. • There was what appeared to be vomit on one of the curtains. • The vent for the bathroom fan didn’t have a cover and it showed years of built-up dust and grime. • The rim of the sink and the drain were filthy. • The sink vanity was old and had mold spots. • There was mold in the grout in the showers. • The shower head was extremely dirty. What was extremely disturbing was the condition of some of the pillows which had been stained with what looked like a mixture of sweat, saliva, and dirt. This was an extremely unhygienic situation. When asked about the pillow situation the clerk acted like these weren’t even their pillows. We even saw some bugs (maybe fleas) moving...
