SEDONA SWIMMING HOLES ⬇️ (part 2) with the temps heating up here in AZ, it’s time to start looking for ways to stay cool! 😎 here are some great spots to check out on your next visit to Sedona. SAVE this list for future reference! 📍Chavez Crossing (454 Chavez Ranch Rd) located just 15 minutes south of Sedona, this beautiful swimming hole offers plenty of shady areas to relax and spots to swim. there’s even a rope swing for the thrill seekers! the road does get a little rough at the end and may be tricky for low clearance vehicles. parking is free. kid + dog friendly. there is a port-a-potty in the parking lot. 📍Buddha Beach this secret swimming hole is located inside of Crescent Moon Ranch Park. there is a $12 entrance fee per vehicle. to reach the swimming hole, take the path to Red Rock Crossing and then follow a small trail upstream to Buddha Beach. amenities include picnic sites and restrooms. kid + dog friendly. 📍Halfway Picnic Area located just 5 miles north of Sedona, this is one of 4 easily accessible picnic areas along Oak Creek Canyon. it’s perfect for hiking, swimming and picnicking. a Red Rock Pass is required to park. vault toilets located in the parking area. kid + dog friendly. please remember to pack out all your trash and belongings and be courteous of other visitors. which swimming hole would you visit first? #sedonaarizona #oakcreekcanyon #summer #swimminghole #visitsedona #sedona #arizonasbest #roamtheplanet
