We absolutely loved staying at the Duck Creek Village Inn. We stayed in one of the cabins. What beautiful scenery and great location. The cabin was clean and everything inside seemed remodeled recently. The owners keep it up really well.
Speaking of the owners, they're great people. Very friendly and willing to chat. They answered any and all questions we had, and even gave us some insight into some of the history of the area.
One thing to keep in mind is that this is very much a haven for ATVers. We were there over Memorial Day weekend and most of the time you will hear ATV engines humming along throughout the day, not to mention the music playing through the loudspeakers down the road at one of the stores. Because the Inn is so close to everything, you'll hear it all. If you go during a busy time it's not exactly peacefully quiet (although you don't hear it unless they're driving right by the road at the cabins). But we didn't have any expectations otherwise. We spent most of the daytime out and about, anyway, so we weren't bothered by it.

Read moreI was with my wife and daughter, her husband. We were to stay at a cottage in Duck Creek Village. We could not get to the cottage because of a number of reasons. This was our first time in the area and didn’t know “squat” about the area. It was dark and late in the day. We call the Inn for help in getting a place to stay for at least that night. We had told the owner of place we were to stay, no way could we stay. The person at the Inn told us to “come on over”. Our intent was to just spend the one night, and find something else the next day. The place they gave us was just what we wanted. We stayed our entire time at the Inn. The owner was friendly helpful and the two bedroom cabin was everything you could want. I’d go back in a minute, as the saying goes. They took care of us as if we were regular customers....
Read moreWe were there for a friend’s wedding and stayed at Bear’s Den Cabin at Duck Creek Village Inn. The check-in was a breeze. We met the owner, Heidi, who made sure everything was in place. Heidi gave us directions to easily navigate the area for the wedding event and simply getting around. The cabin was very nice, cozy and most of all clean. The furnitures were comfortable and made our downtime from the wedding relaxing. We did not cook but the cabin has a fully equipped kitchen. Easy to get in and out of the cabin location with a good parking space next to the cabin. We like the fact that it is tucked away enough, but not too far from the main road, for privacy and quiet. It’s a great place to stay at if you want to be close to nature and away from urban life. Will absolutely stay here again when...
