We stayed here one night in the RV Campground. This place is like stepping back in time! It's very cool, and even a bit strange and weird. The Motel rooms looked very clean, quaint, and charming in a rustic sort of way. (Housekeeper let us peak in a room). They have coffee makers, flat screen TV's, fridge, etc. Little pricey ($90.00), but looked pretty cute.||||The grounds are spread over many acres. The actual caves are a mile from the entrance, motel, museum, and swimming pool. Pool area was very clean, and looked inviting. There is no cell phone service here at all (AT&T), and the nearest gas stations are Peach Springs (15 miles), or Seligman (25 miles). Plan ahead!||||The campground itself was great... There were probably 3-4 people in RV's while we were staying there, and maybe a handful of tent campers as well. So, we really enjoyed the openess and sparsley populated campground, with no one near us for at least 300 yards. The bathrooms are individual little rooms with large, clean shower; toilet, and sink. That's a really cool feature, instead of the usual "dorm-style," crowded, share-everything (sounds, smells, etc.) typical campground bathrooms! No sewer dump at individual sites, but there's an RV dump station near the front of the compound.||||Motel stays and RV park usage included a continental breakfast, which was OK. Did not try out the actual restaurant, adjacent to the Caverns entrance.||||Overall, we loved this place, had a fantstic time, and would...

Read moreThe Grand Canyon Caverns Inn is like a motel out of a horror movie. Everything is run down and there are random statues everywhere - it is OLD. Easy to check in for Havasu Falls - I will say that.
A few things about the hotel itself:
The service was impeccable. The staff is so friendly. Brenda at the front desk needs a raise. If something goes wrong in your room at an obscure time, you’re SOL, as maintenance isn’t on site. Needed a plunger at 5:30A, no go. Used a hanger. There is a little shop open 24/7 to grab snacks, last minute camping stuff you forgot, etc… this is nice. The restaurant food is great, but I can imagine once it gets busy, they’ll be slow with service. 4a. The continental breakfast is very basic. You’re better off just bringing your own snacks. The rooms - horrendous. The TV didn’t work. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing. There are very few outlets. A light outside each window. Heaters are touchy. Our showerhead was a waterfall in itself. Very little amount of outlets (maybe 2-3).
If you’re going for Havasu Falls - it’s a place to lay your head if that’s all you’re looking for. If you want some extra comfort and niceness - I’d check in here and stay at the Hualapai Lodge down in Peach Springs, which might be an extra 5 mins more of a drive to the Hilltop, but worth it for upgraded...
