We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pictures do not do it justice. This place is beautiful, surrounded by the Collegiate Peaks!! Patrick, the host and owner, was delightful!!! He stopped to say hi when we first arrived and asked if we needed anything. The sites were clean and ready to go. When some folks on the other side of the campground were having trouble with connectivity, he readily installed a wifi booster. The creek side area is peaceful and calm, filled with a variety of places to sit to enjoy the water. Patrick is highly knowledgeable about travel trailers and RVs. This campground provides easy access to the town of Buena Vista, Cottonwood Lake, Cottonwood Hot Springs, Clear Creek Reservoir, and white water rafting. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and the quality of management of this property! We will definitely be back next summer!!! Thank you Patrick for everything and an...

I can’t say enough positive things about our recent 5-night stay in the Copper Moon Tiny Home! We had four adults in our group and found it incredibly comfortable—plenty of space for sleeping, and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, including a coffee maker and fridge, and the strong WiFi was a huge plus (one of our friends even took a school assessment from the Tiny Home with no issues!).

MoonStream is an absolutely fantastic place to stay in Buena Vista. The views are breathtaking—truly out of this world—and the location is perfect. It’s just a few minutes’ drive into town, to the Colorado Trail for hiking, and to several hot springs resorts (we counted at least three nearby options!).

If you’re into Tiny Homes or glamping, don’t hesitate to book. We’d come back in...

AMAZING PLACE! I absolutely loved this RV park. I stayed a few nights with my travel trailer on site 5. I ended up getting to pull through this site instead of backing in, but I think because my trailer was small enough ( 21ft). But the owner walked me to my spot, helped me pull in and even level my trailer. He let me borrow some water hoses because mine had a leak. They were SO nice and welcoming. I felt like I was welcomed into their family and home. It’s very well maintained and clean. There’s even creek access where there’s tons of chairs and tables and games for you to enjoy. It’s basically right across the highway from the Comanche drive in movie theatre. So check that out while you’re there. This is truly the best spot in the area for...

Step back in time and enjoy a rustic slice of Colorado mountains in the middle of the Collegiate Peaks area. We enjoyed the quaint "village" concept of this smaller campground. There's a mix of RV sites, tiny homes, and fixed vintage RV's for rent. Each site has a fire ring, outdoor seating, and full hookups. They offer firewood for sale and are building out a bath house. The property is quiet and spacious with views galore. Don't miss the pathway down to the river where you will find a relaxing place (or many) to sit or explore. The owners are lovely. And you can't beat the location close to the historic downtown of Buena Vista, hiking, nearby hot springs, and the Arkansas River. We would definitely stay here again.
