There aren't enough stars to rate this stay. We held our wedding at SVC in July 2023 and it was absolutely amazing. The house transforms into a magical wedding venue with a few rentals/personal touches and couldn't have been more beautiful for our big day. The newly renovated kitchen downstairs was perfect for our caterers to use as well as our own needs during our stay. The giant hot tub was a hit with our guests. And David and Erica are really passionate about hosting and went above and beyond in every way for us. When we were in Steamboat six months before the wedding, David gave us a tour of the house when they had an open day between renters. And then, go figure, we had EVERYTHING set up outside on our wedding day and a pop up thunderstorm came through (don't worry.. we got it all covered!). In addition to loaning us tarps to cover our fully decorated arch, we looked out the window after the storm passed and Erica was out there wiping off our benches and helping us get back on track. We truly can't say enough nice things about this place and its wonderful hosts. This place deserves 10 stars and will always be very special to us. Reunion in a few years! Thank you to David and Erica.

This is a 10 Bedroom 11 Bathroom chalet managed by on premise hosts that are very accommodating and helpful. We went just after Christmas and stayed until January 2nd. They were very thoughtful and plowing the roads so that we could get in and out of our parking spots. The house is very well maintained and affords a beautiful view of the area. Our kids were able to play by creating a snow slope for the tubes and sleds behind the house. There is a very large cafeteria style eating area downstairs that accommodated all of our 20 adults and kids for family gatherings. We were able to grill and cook in the very large institutional size kitchen in the same area for everyone at the same time. Two eating areas provide enough room for people to be separated if needed. Many breakout areas for kids and adults to play and ensures you're not on top of each other but still are close enough to enjoy each other's company. While the center of town is about 8 mi away the views and seclusion afforded by this wonderful house are by far worth the short trip into the city.

We enjoyed a beautiful winter stay at this gorgeous chateau! Outside is a true winter wonderland while inside is a cozy retreat. Accommodations are first class. Gorgeous kitchen with Viking appliances, super comfortable bedrooms and multiple warm and inviting seating areas to kick back, relax and take in the views out of the giant picture windows. Owners were so welcoming and kind. We can’t say enough good things! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I recently got married here and hosted some of our wedding guests for the days before and after the ceremony.

This Airbnb’s location and cleanliness are world class. The host takes exceptional care of the property and grounds.

The host seems ill-prepared for party sizes of the magnitude they advertise - 30+ guests. The host will send you a barrage of unkindly worded texts and have the expectation of immediate response. Unfortunately the bride-to-be and myself had to carry the burden of the host’s anxiety for the rest of our special weekend and unreasonably police our guests.

On the first night of our four night stay we were forbidden from being outside after 10 and even subtly threatened with the authorities being roped in. At this time there were four sober guests in the hot tub.

Unfortunately, as a guest, you will be closely monitored by the host, and unreasonably verbally disciplined when your party of 30 generates as much noise is to be expected from a group of that size.

Due to the anxieties that the host will inevitably pass on to you this stay’s experience unfortunately falls short of the immense dollar value you will spend on your special weekend. This venue is exceptional for the ceremony and reception, but unfortunately I would advise against using this space to host your guests in and around your special day.

There is also an unfriendly off-leash dog belonging to the owners. was not communicated and it physically lunged and nipped at one of our dogs on the final morning while we were packing up the cars. Unfortunately this is no private yard for your dogs so remain vigilant while...
