Paradise Palms Resort — Hotel in Four Corners

We stayed at 8990 Cuban Palm Rd. So I wanted to write this review mainly because they really don’t have any. And I wanted to do the pros and cons because no place is perfect which to me is fine because when people described something so perfect makes me think something is off. So here goes the cons are - when arriving we noticed stains on some of pillows we label as the teenager room- lol luckily we only needed 3 bedrooms so we didn’t use that room - but the shower in that room is great!! As for an Airbnb I’m used to having a small supply of normal stuff like dish soap and a sponge trash bag etc. just note this place does give a trash bag in the container but you need to bring everything else toilet paper paper towels dish soap dishwasher detergent if you use it, laundry stuff, sponge - now if you won’t need said items like you will be at the parks for everything your good to go. I like to have some rnr. Everyone is different. As for the towels situation they only give minimum so for instance in a room with only 2 people only 2 towels etc but a room which could sleep more only 2. It is assumed the adults would sleep downstairs with sharing a bathroom not connecting to either bedrooms because those rooms look more adult but the master bedroom is upstairs with the twin beds. The beds are ok comfortable- I have a bad back so therefore not comfortable for me - but not stopping me from staying here. I didn’t have to go somewhere else to sleep. I will say not enough cover for the beds just a sheet and a blanket but most blankets only big enough for children and not adults. Please put any not sealed food in refrigerator because we had sugar ants get into the donuts oops. Universal is about 45 minutes give or take with traffic and only 35 minutes if you go around lunchtime. But when you leave nighttime it’s 45 plus minutes. We had no idea this place was so far away from universal. PROS Disney is about 20-25 minutes. I know some reviews said it’s a 10 minute drive maybe if no one is here meaning everyone in school and working. The place is very nice as it’s been upgraded to granite countertops and bathrooms upgraded. Furniture is comfortable. The bedrooms are decorated nicely. Like I said weird arrangement for all the kids rooms are upstairs two rooms have bathrooms attached and one does not so still 3 bathrooms upstairs where there is only one downstairs with two bedrooms. All the bedrooms do have smart tvs in them. The facilities are very nice they have the big pool, game room, tennis courts and basketball courts as well as the cinema inside of the center plus a volleyball court. Lots to do for the kids. We enjoyed the grill - although we filled it up so hopefully the next person will still have some. We left our extras like garbage bags, dishwasher detergent and dish soap as well as a new sponge along with paper towels. It’s just nice to have something so you don’t have to run out right away to walmart or Publix. All in all if I was only coming to Disney World and Disney parks I would stay here because 20 mins at 8-9 am not that bad. And if you go to universal at 6am 23 minutes. So there facts aren’t wrong just who goes at 6 am anywhere but...

We had a reservation for Paradise Palms Resort Kissimmee through Marriott Homes and Villas, and we are calling it the Resort from HELL. We arrived to a security gate without our names on the reservation, even though I have messages in the guest portal advising WVH of our arrival. We waited outside this security gate for over an hour, and WVH blamed us for the errors made. We walked into a filthy house with stains on bedding, hair in the bathrooms, a pool that was paid to be heated, and a pool that was just bigger than our personal tubs.||After communicating with WVH with nothing but aggravation, and they were not answering their phone calls or messages. I contacted Marriott Homes and Villas for assistance, but the issues continued. We observed a serious Domestic Violence Incident that had the entire family worried about our safety. When your on vacation, you should be able to feel safe and secure.||We had issues with the digital front door lock not working properly, and contacted WVH. They acted as if we didn't know how to operate the lock, after the week from HELL. They claimed nothing was wrong with the lock, but we were advised that it needed to be replaced and to use a specific code. After learning that the door lock was not securing the door, we made reservations to relocate Our Family to a secure location for the remainder of Our Vacation. We advised WVH about the continuing issues, and they were consistently rude with their passive aggressive communications.||We have found that WVH has a reputation for not fulfilling their contracts, and it appears that they continue to take monies without providing services paid for by their customers.||DON'T RENT FROM WONDER HOME VACATIONS, UNLESS YOU WANT AGGRAVATION, WASTED TIME, AND MONEY. Paradise palm was by far the worst place to stay. Security to get Into the community was horrible they made it seem like it was the White House that we were checking into. Over an hour and a half wait to get into the community because security and property management have zero communication with each other. There was always a long line just to get into the gate, that so many visitors complained and had to argue about the situation. One says one thing and the other says another. Once we checked in we were without Air Conditioning for 2 nights while having 5 children with us. Not even fans in the home. We spoke to the neighbors they said they didn’t have ac downstairs. In our home each bathroom was only provided with one roll of toilet paper, we had to go purchase more. The Maintenance crew was very ghetto and unprofessional. Instead of trying to make our stay better they made it worse, going back and forth with us. There was no winning with them. It was a complete hassle trying to have a visitor come over because they would not allow them in although they weren’t staying there. Security told our visitor to park in the wawa and then we can go and pick them up, if not they can not get in. Check out is at 10 am. We were looking for a trash bags to make sure we left the house clean and there weren’t any in the home, when we called the number provided to us in case of any issues they said you can purchase a trash bag if you want. The icing on the cake is where the property is located all of our cell phones had poor service so as we looked forward to the WiFi that they said they provide to us in the home, NEVER WORKED!!!
