This hotel was chosen by an event planner and the factors were likely more price and location rather then amenities. The place is built into the exit cloverleaf at the junction of 476 and 209, and it is a busy place. Depending on which way you are traveling when you come or leave, you will need to head up the road to make a u-turn somewhere. That alone is a bit annoying. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was modern and clean. As you can see from one of the photos our view was of the on-ramp to I-476 and it could be a bit noisy during the day, but it was not noticeable at night. What was a bit noisy was someone over us dragging their furniture around the room, at least that is what it sounded like. It did stop by bed-time! There did appear to be some longer-term residents being housed there, but I could be wrong. This added to the noise in the hallway with lots of foot traffic and doors opening and closing. The breakfast was the typical Covid-time offerings, cold cereals, boiled eggs, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches and waffles, muffins and such. It was enough to get you going. There was no restaurant although there was a sign out front offering business opportunities for anyone looking for a place to set up shop. However a minute away is a great restaurant (PJ Whelihan's) that the staff recommended. Go there. For the business-person looking for a place to spend the night, not a bad choice, but not really for a family with kids. There was a pool, hot-tub, and exercise room. Edited- I returned a year later (April 2022) and was still happy with my stay. The staff were pleasant, the room clean and relatively quiet. This time I even had a corner Jacuzzi which was a nice touch.

The hotel, cleanliness, and staff are excellent. The hotel has a clean pool that is not overcrowded with guests. It is a very good place to relax, even with children. The staff has always been attentive, and I thank all of them for that. However, the breakfast included in the room price is very limited and not sufficient for all guests. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant incident. I stayed at the hotel for five days, and on the last day, I decided to try their breakfast for the first time. I made waffles for seven people (we were seven in total), which caused dissatisfaction among a group of other guests who, every day, would clear the tables of everything that was served. While I was sitting at the table and eating, they kept coming one by one, complaining to me about why I had taken so many waffles, claiming there weren’t enough for everyone. The housekeeper, instead of replenishing the waffle batter in the machine, said there was no more and suggested they ask us why we were eating so many waffles. Does this mean one guest can not eat one waffle? I have never felt so humiliated. My friend and I sat at the table, listening to people criticize us for the waffles meant for our children. Thank God my 1-year-old child was in the room and didn’t witness this incident. I was placed in a terrible situation. It saddened me that none of the staff reacted to this situation. The housekeeper kept giving us suspicious looks and, when passing near us, would talk about us. Despite being satisfied with the hotel and the rest of the staff overall, I will never return due to this incident. Thank you for the service provided.

I would give negative stars if I could. First of all, the attitude of the front desk was very bad. I said thank you to her but got no response, she even rolled her eyes and became impatient when there was a problem in the hotel. When we got into the room, there were at least 30 ants in it, crawling around the bed and near my suitcase. At first, I saw a few occasionally and just wanted to endure it. Unexpectedly, during the two hours we stayed in the room, many ants crawled into my clothes, the inside of the suitcase, and my dog's hair. Seeing this, I started to communicate with the front desk to check out. When she saw a lot of ants climbing around my suitcase into my clothes she told me that ants don't bite and I'm not the first person to have such a problem, so I need to pay for their loss. Also, we are not the only one suffering from this torture, other couples with German shepherds had the same problem. The front desk has been shirking responsibility from the beginning to the end, and strongly demanded to charge us for the room for two hours. The reason was we had dogs and they needed someone to clean. Encountering ants is also a problem with the cleaning staff, so we need to pay for it. My dogs are only six pounds and haven't been out of the bag or done anything bad to their room. The other couple's German Shepherd was about 70 lbs. When they encountered such a problem, they changed two rooms with a lot of bugs, and the front desk refunded the full amount. Only we were charged money. Made me feel discriminated against. Worst accommodation experience ever.

We had major issues with our reservation. We originally had a reservation for Fri and Sat nights (Aug 29/30) for my daughter's wedding. There were many wedding guests staying at the hotel. I had added on an additional night (Thurs Aug 28) on Aug 5 (confirmation #16723912), and told the man who took the reservation that we would need to come in early Friday morning, so we were adding on Thursday night to allow us to get into our room on early Friday. When we arrived on Friday, we were told that our reservation had been cancelled because we had not shown up Thursday night. I told the woman at the desk about the additional night that had been added and that we told the man who took the reservation we wouldn't be coming in till Friday morning. She said she was sorry, but they cancel reservations when you don't show up. She said the hotel is totally booked. I then showed her the reservation on my phone, and then she seemed more open to looking into how to resolve the issue. I don't know why this wasn't noted when we made the additional night reservation. This was very upsetting because we had my daughter's wedding the next day and wedding ceremony rehearsal/dinner to get to that day. And now we were under the impression that we had no room for the weekend. Then she said well let me check to see if your room is still available, and she said yes, you still have Fri and Sat reserved. And we weren't charged for Thursday night. We checked in and I put this issue aside as we had my daughter's wedding to focus on. Several things should have been handled differently. One, the man who took my additional night reservation on Aug 5 should have made a note on the reservation that we would be coming in Friday morning. Two, the woman who checked us in on Friday morning did not communicate the issue effectively. The first thing she said was your room has been canceled, and the hotel is totally booked, not what you want to hear when you are there for your daughter's wedding. Additionally, management was difficult to get ahold of, not available after 4 pm during the week and not available on weekends. Another wedding guest had their reservation cancelled and we had to scramble and give them someone else's room and make other arrangements for that person. Other than these issues, we found the hotel to be very nice, with a...

🚨 WARNING: Unjust Charges & False Accusations at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lehighton-Jim Thorpe, PA 🚨

I had a terrible experience at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lehighton-Jim Thorpe, PA (1619 Interchange Rd, Lehighton, PA, 18235, USA), and I want to warn others before booking here.

💰 Unjust Deposit Withholding After checking out on January 1, 2025, the hotel falsely accused me of smoking marijuana in my room and kept my deposit without providing any proof!

🚫 No Evidence, Just Assumptions I repeatedly asked for proof—no photos, no videos, no documented reports—yet they still charged me. The manager even admitted over the phone that the decision was based only on the smell and that they "assumed" it came from my room!

💨 Hallways Smelled Like Marijuana, Ventilation System Connected During my stay, I noticed a strong marijuana smell in the hallways. But instead of properly investigating, the hotel blamed me without considering that the ventilation system connects all rooms, meaning the smell could have come from anywhere!

❌ Horrible Customer Service & Possible Discrimination The staff was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen. Instead of addressing my concerns, they ignored my requests for evidence and refused to refund my money. I can't help but wonder if I was treated unfairly due to discrimination.

⚠️ DON’T STAY HERE – THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! If this hotel can randomly charge guests without proof, imagine what else they can get away with! I have already reported them to Radisson corporate, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.

📢 SPREAD THE WORD! If you’ve had a similar experience, DON’T STAY SILENT! Leave a review and report them. This hotel needs to be held...
