I feel compelled to upgrade this 3.5 listing to atleast 4.5.! We stumbled upon this treasure during the 2024 eclipse after 2 other properties canceled on us, probably bc they could double their money. No burrs during our stay, only abundance of Blue Bonnets, peace and serenity from the eclipse crowd in town, and close to so many places like Enchanted Rock State Park, LBJ Ranch, vineyards. The tranquility, stargazing, coziness, cleanliness…all at 1/4 to half what other accommodations were charging. A true find near Fredericksburg. Maybe go in Blue...

Brandis cockleburr nightmare! Yard and surrounding area completely unusable due to mammoth cockleburr infestation. Our dog could not walk anywhere off the rock. We didn't even use the yard and needed to vacuum daily to get the burrs out of the carpet...
