Last Friday we decided to stay at a motel on our U.P. camp trip since it was getting late. This motel had good reviews and was cheap so we decided to settle there for the night. Was told over the phone if we paid cash we would get a better discounted rate. My boyfriend checked in and said the lady was a super nice Christian. Our room was the last room, I believe room 8 or 9. As we opened up the door we got smacked with a foul oder smell of rancid dog diarrhea. Further into the room we noticed that the whole room was slanted and the bathroom walls were ripping away at the seams. The furnishings looked as if they came from the afterbirth of a garage sale. I had to open the window to cool off for the night (luckily the screen was in good shape). Seemed like one of the outlets didn’t work either, not sure how many are messed up. The WiFi connection was inadequate. Water smelled like sulfur, don’t know if that’s normal for the area though? The only thing that worked well was the...
