My significant other's family booked this cabin for a family getaway to celebrate a birthday. It housed 26 people overnight and many more throughout the day for various activities. We loved it. The cabin was quaint, quiet, and relaxing. There was plenty of parking space for all our vehicles. It even has a hiking trail just passed the cabin. The kitchen was large and held all amenities needed for cooking, it also had large tables to accommodate everyone for meal times. Each room was uniquely decorated and almost all rooms have access to a bathroom in the room itself or right next to a room in the hallway. Be prepared for a lot of stairs! When you walk into the main door, you walk into a living room with a nice fireplace and comfy couches to sit and relax. There are several sliding glass doors throughout the property that gives you access to various levels of the porches. Once you enter into the living room, you can take one set of stairs going down into the dinning room/kitchen area or take one that goes up to the second main living quarters and you can go up even further to an observation/sun room. Our favorite room was the TV/game room. It had a long sectional couch that accommodated all 26 with some extras, as well. We played board games, watched sporting events, and even had a makeshift church gathering in that room. We spent many hours playing the arcade games. My only negative comment is it can get a little creepy at night. The bathroom door in the room I was staying in abruptly swung open a couple of times during the night, scaring me half to death and also a window in that bathroom kept opening. Sometime throughout the one of the nights, in room 13 (of course) I heard foot steps leading up to that door (which was right next to my room) and violent beating on the door and sounded like someone tried to get into that room (everyone was asleep, I was the last one to bed). No one knows what happened! Other than that, it is an awesome...
Read moreThe driveway is TRASH. There are DEEP ruts at the bottom. They were informed we had a group of motorcycles (15 total) and nothing was mentioned about how rough it was or at least a word of caution. Two motorcycles were wrecked and had thousands of dollars of damage because of the driveway. The griddle on the stove was inoperable and there was no hot tub like was advertised. There were shower problems and we felt uncomfortable having so many people coming to the cabin to get supplies out while we were sitting outside. It was nice to get away, but it just wasn’t a great experience. The driveway was a major issue and made the stay dangerous for our entire group....
