Sunset Vacation Rentals — Hotel in Geneva

Terrible place to stay! Pictures are very nice until you get to the place where you are going to stay! The loft at 4772 is the worst place to stay! They tell you there are stairs BUT they do not tell you they are metal outside very steep stairs that are at least 10 of them!, unsafe to get up and down! The grass getting to the stairs was long and uncut and very hard to walk through! There balcony to see the sunset was a little maybe 2by 2 landing outside the door entrance that didn’t even have a place to put a chair! The stairs were so steep that I couldn’t use them and had to find another place to stay! The owners of the place didn’t even seem to care about it at all! They did not disclose anything about the stairs being open and out side the loft let alone how steep and unsafe they were! At night the lighting was terrible to even consider to use them! Management didn’t even seem to care about your safety just as long as they got there money Think twice about renting anything from these people and don’t believe the pictures! Waste...

We stayed on the main level of 4772. Everything was nicely remodeled, especially the kitchen with granite counters, new cabinets and the necessities for morning coffee and light cooking. The light and fan in the livingroom didn’t work, or the TVs in the bedrooms. The “king” bed in the master is actually two twin beds pushed together. Not ideal, but the mattresses are comfortable. One thing to be aware of is the house has three huge Sunset signs, so it’s kind of like staying in a big billboard. Bleached towels, grime left inside the fridge, check in was delayed without notice, cleaning service was not completed prior, claimed they gave us a discount on a golf cart (that we didn’t even rent), host used the patio during our stay (so we couldn’t use it for breakfast until they were done), and then claimed they were unable to meet our “unreasonable” standards. The only standard expected was what was advertised, so I’m not sure how they were able to advertise expectations they couldn’t meet or how they were unreasonable when they were the ones that listed what to expect upon arrival. Do not recommend, would not use again…....
