The Loft Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Geneva

Let me preface this by saying the food was really good. That being said the service was abysmal to say the least. When we walked in there were 3 maybe 4 tables seated. It took about 10 minutes to take our drink order, and about 15 to receive those drinks. Once we got our drinks it took another 10 for them to take our food order. Reason I point this out is typically a waiter or waitress will ask once the drinks have been delivered if you're ready to order. Our drinks were set down and they walked away. It would appear to me also that all the orders need to be taken via a POS system that requires the waiter or waitress to carry around some kind of tablet. It seemed like they had only one usable tablet, if that is the case shame on whoever is running this place to put your wait staff at that kind of disadvantage. Once we got our food we had to wait an additional 4 or 5 minutes just for silverware because they were out of it. I don't blame the wait staff as they were dealing with the hand they were dealt. The people running this place need to step up and make sure their staff is well equipped to deal with...

Kids meal was good..mini corn dogs... Hard to mess up fried food.... Philly steak was OK.... Cranberry salad look great... Server was not too friendly ...didn't check up after meal was served...didn't offer refills on Drinks...kinda slow but adequate service Biggest letdown was my meatball sandwich Served on a foot long overglorfied hot dog bun With Sam's club meatballs cut in half and spread thin on the hot dog bun..... Very little sauce and no cheese.. Worst part...I had to go to the restroom twice before leaving..went right through me.. Thinking it was compromised tomato sauce that gave me the "hershy squirts" for the lack of a better term......restrooms were clean and the atmosphere was decent.....just...

We were visiting the area and wanted to try a local place. Wasn’t expecting to have to climb stairs, so if you need wheelchair or handicapped accessibility this might not be the best place. There’s a ground floor but it was closed off. We ordered appetizer sample (hot cheese balls, pickle spears and onion rings) it was pretty tasty. Haddock sandwich which was okay (very greasy) and a Mac and cheese burger. There’s loft sauce there that the waitress was unable to describe very well, skip it. The Mac and cheese burger was very delicious. I’d recommend if you’re wanting a good burger. There was also a pool table and old school Ms. Pac-Man game which was...
