The 2nd shift lady is nice. 3rd shift is ok...? I guess she lives there? Manager 1st shift i am not sure if it was her or 3rd shift angry that i booked...the room...through Expedia.??? whyyy was she so upset about it idk..???...i said because the nice woman told me to..who worked there bc you were almost out of room's. " she says: Well not aure why she did you could have went through us instead very rude ans snotty on the phone
ALSO we just stayed 1 night Expedia had a better rate. The nice woman I think was 2nd shift tbh not sure.....she should be given a raise...tbh..
Now i have MS two disabled kids...and their dad im in a motorized chair i drive with my hand. NO HANDICAPPED DOOR OPENINGS NOR AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE. The room smelled like MILDEW. it was horrid we open the window spider webs 🕸 dust....and looks to me as mold and dirt combined saw an orange spider.... the air conditioner dust and spider webs. 🕷 dust bunnies everywhere checked in late at 5 got back at almost 1230 am "funeral" i have photos of everything...we had to get alot of towels since they have no mats ....in the HANDICAPPED ♿️ room. Which ia a crazy hazard....its so slippery and its also a walk in shower not even an inch to stop the water from going to the bathroom floor..... i told 2nd shift that we all were asthmatic...more so my 15 yr old....she said it was an oder...eliminating spray.... it wasnt the spray it was mildew... i know the differences... she gave us a fan.. it helped..a lil...but not when we got back we left before checkout bc my daughter went into an asthmatic attack.... will NEVER go back.... they would not give me a refund...however...Expedia was very kind..ps towels are old and yellow! The only person that was nice was 2nd shift .... also since we had towels my kids father asked housekeeper where so u want me to put towels you can put everything in there and pointed to the housekeeping door even bedding ...he just put the towels in there for them.... we should javelin just left them in the bathroom folded like we did.
Odd Indeed disappointed 😞 she didn't like bugs either but apparently there are only 2 HANDICAPPED rooms ? The other was taken.... so her hands were tied...PAPER...
Read moreDON'T STAY HERE!!!!! I booked my room for the weekend of the fourth of July for a three night stay. Room seemed nice for being a small town inn. The first night all you could hear is slamming doors and people coming and going from the room adjoining to ours. We went out the next day and bought a high powered fan hoping that would help with the noise. The next night was pure hell. Again with the coming and going and now we suspected that they were selling dope out of the room. Why else would multiple people come to the room for 10-15 mins and leave. Many different people!!!! Plus it reeked like dope. We were than harassed and threatened by the guest staying in the room next to me in which there was an adjoining door. They kept trying to open the adjoining door and were saying things too inappropriate to say here through the door to the point where we were fearful of our safety. Not wanting to call the after hrs # due to suspected retaliation by the men in the next room, we ended up calling our family who we were there to visit to go there for the night. This was at 1:00 a.m. We went back to the inn the next afternoon and reported what had happened and asked to have the room moved. Upon speaking with the staff, I was told the owner would be calling me to work all this out. The third night was o.k., we slept well considering we hadn't slept a wink in the two nights prior. No one had contacted me from management by Friday the 10th so I called up their to inquire and was advised that no refund or credit would be given because I never called the after hours #. Again retaliation was our fear. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy stay here let alone anyone else. Save yourself the money and stay in Midland as the owner of this establishment owns the other hotel in town as well. Garbage management and client retention as I spent 395 for 3 nights and would have surely booked again as we are up in...
Read moreMy husband and I were here for one night as we made our way from the UP back to Ohio. First the positive: The room was great. Spacious, clean, comfy bed, reading lights, a sitting chair and a desk. The bathroom was clean and the shower powerful compared to many places we have stayed recently. There was a deep bathtub, which is nice if taking a bath, but a little challenging for us older folk to get in and out of the shower. The front desk associate was very nice. This will sound petty, but I was disappointed in the location and the fact that the hotel did not look anything like the first picture on this site (is that someone's house?). That picture implied this was in a shady locale and the name implied a river nearby. Not so. Bordered by a soccer field, strip mall and propane sales operation, it is not a particularly appealing setting. Their sister property in Gladwin is a fancy, resort/spa. Don't...
