PLEASE READ BEFORE STAYING AT THIS HOTEL!!!! As a former employee of this hotel, I would not stay there nor recommend working there. As an employee of many years, I have never seen injustice and discrimination like I've seen it here. There are 2 sides to this hotel, the side facing Mcdonald's and the side facing Interstate 26. While doing laundry the new managers, Priya and Bob Patel, require that the laundry be placed in 2 separate piles. The better, nicer, cleaner sheets and towels are placed on the front side facing Mcdonald's. The less appealing towels with stains, rips, and dingy look, is put on the Interstate 26 side, the low quality side. That is not the worst part. They require that the front desk clerks put all Locals, Truckers, Corporate workers, Contractors, single men and women, people dressed a certain way, and people with pets on the backside. Truckers, contractors, and corporate folks, don't be fooled. You are offered a better rate because you are receiving a less appealing room. Also there is no sense of Hometown Pride. All locals are in their words, "more than likely there to party, drink, and smoke in the rooms. Also if you are single, you are most likely to creeping on your significant other (husband or wife). It is furthermore disturbing because if that was the case, which it is usually not, then they feel that you should be placed on the backside so that you will not be seen by your significant other and you will be more okay with having a less appealing room. They also jack the rates up an extra $20-30 even though the rates in the computer are set by the computer for no apparent reason and require that front desk abide by this. I see other former guest on google has also stated this issue. The managers live on the site upstairs but require front desk to tell people they are not there. They come downstairs from their apartment frequently to go through the reservations and chastise their employees for placing anyone with a South Carolina ID on the McDonald's side. It is an inside joke at this hotel among the workers that all the "black people, locals, and low class people is put in the back because they don't matter." Priya has been known to put guests out if anyone gets on her about her injustice and unfairness and have even thrown a guest's clothing outside after an argument. She has put out a man and his disabled sister just because the guy got on her about her treating other guests better than him. This young couple have no real care for their guests. I've seen them pretend to care about a guest and as soon as they are helped by front desk clerks, the clerk is chastised afterwords and put down for giving any type of discount or attempt to satisfy the guest. Several guests have threatened lawsuits and I am sure that this will soon occur because of the level of unprofessionalism that exist. I am not sure why Corporate has not checked into the matter yet because a lot of the employees are either quitting or are tired of being treated that way and forced to submit to discrimination under threats of being fired. I am not trying to scare anyone but do believe that the first step in change begins with having a voice. If you are against discrimination, stereotyping, unfairness, and being placed in a low quality room because of what someone think of you, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The bedbugs are true and the managers tell front desk to just tell guests that the hotel is under new management and therefore its taken care of, which its not. I am glad that I left and will never look back. I pray that Days Inn Corporate step in and take action before this becomes any more of a problem. This business need to suffer the same injustice as they dish to their guests and workers until someone steps in...

Now you tell me, what's the use of doing a pre arrival check in ????????? I take the time to sign my cell phone screen, pull out my registration to get my tag number, even pull out my credit card to get the card number and the 4 digit security number all to just have to go thru it again when I walk in at the front desk to basically check in AGAIN !!!!@!@!!! I am on the road all the time, a diamond member, probably more then 50 or 60 stays a year & at the other establishments that have the pre arrival check in its so nice to walk in be handed my key and be on my way, I plan on sending this same complaint to CORPORATE, it's a pain to have to go thru the same steps as I do on pre arrival check in, EVEN AS FAR AS MY SIGNATURE ON THE CELL PHONE,, , just don't even offer the pre arrival check-in,,,,,,, hotel is clean, although upon check-in and walking into the room, wet carpet smell, called front desk to let them know, said room got its carpet cleaned today, sounds like whoever cleaned it needs to figure out a way to get the carper dry.
last week I was in room 101, this week the other side of the building, room 129,,,,, same thing happening, internet signal keeps dropping out. last week i told the front desk, she said one other lady said the same problem, that she called the service and they told her all points are working correctly. I've worked on computers for over 20 years, this is an intermittent problem, it's not something they can tell just by looking at the signals/points, they need to physically come out here to the motel, get on the signal and use it for some time and monitor it. last week it might work for an hour or two then drop, happened four or five times with me, it just happened again tonight as I...
Read moreI wish I had read the reviews before booking through the Wyndham Rewards website because I would not have had us stay here. This is located right off the highway, there's a large gas station and a McDonald's within walking distance. The room is very basic, it does look like they have recently remodeled to update the decor. We got a king sized bed and both of us woke with back aches. They do give you plenty of pillows on the bed and the room was surpisingly clean. It's very noisy here...be prepared to be woken early. This motel caters to alot of construction workers, laborers that like to hang out outside their rooms and visit other rooms in the evenings, which personally as a woman made me feel uncomfortable. The gentleman at the front desk, who when I called to inform him of our late check in, wanted to take a payment over the phone. I explained I had secured our room 3 weeks ago with a credit card. He has to look it up to confirm and then allowed me to hang up. First time that's ever happened to us. We didn't bother with the continental breakfast based on two things: the reviews and viewing their "breakfast area" which was very small and clearly wasn't going to be offering up many choices. Don't expect extra towels or soaps. For two people you each get one of everything....one soap, one wash cloth, one hand towel and one bath towel. The shower water was disappointing. Make it quick. The hot water lasted me about 30 seconds and then spewed cold water. We had gotten a good price on these rooms....so I will end this by saying you get what you pay for...
