Stayed 3 nights in the RV park. This place is laid back. There is a lot of month rental RVers there but everyone is friendly. The marina has EVERYTHING you need from RV supply’s, fishing gear, and boat/trailer needs. I would of given it 5 stars but the RV park is next to public parking for the beach. It can get a little loud and busy if your on the east side of the property. There was several large groups that had a cookout on the beach and left a bunch of trash behind one day. 😡🤬 Wish the Grand Isle PD would patrol more and enforce littering more because it was not hard to find. We will definitely be back just not in that same spot.

If your looking for a weekend stay or weekly stay I highly recommend this place. We come to the island 2 times a year and every chance we get in-between. This was our first stay here. The rooms are very nice and extra clean. The accommodations were above and beyond. The staff was friendly and very helpful with check in. Thank you so much we appreciate you. It's so good to see the comeback of the island. See you next trip. The Fesslers

1st time staying since Hurricane Ida, everything was brand new construction and updated to 2023 standards… lol. Rooms are definitely much more insulated than before and you can crank that A/C down low and it gets COLD in there even during the heat of our summer days. Marina within walking distance has fresh cooked food, fuel, bait, ice and all the fishing supplies you can think of.

Had a great time at Bridge Side. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfectly fine. The staff was really nice to my family and I. Due to the wind we didn't get to get the boat out much but, nothing one can do about that. So, we decided to head back a day early. I had counted on losing the day I had already paid for but, to my surprise they gave me a refund for the day we weren't staying. Really nice of them to do that. We ended up spending it all on some shirts and buffs for the kids. We went on Halloween weekend as well. Everyone on the island was super nice to us and even told us where to take the kids for trick-or-treating. Cant say enough about the people there. Going back as soon as possible to get my fishing in. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. The "pro-shop" was well stocked also. If you've forgot to bring something or if the fish are biting on something you don't have they will more than likely have something there in-stock to get you by.

TL/DR - It was fantastic. Would not hesitate going back.

I placed a reservation to stay one night here. I was quoted a price and secured my reservation with a debit card. When I checked in I was handed a written bill with the amount matching the price I was quoted. I handed the clerk my debit card and paid. It was my mistake that I didn’t examine the credit card receipt until later, where I saw a charge added “non-cash fee” $8.18. I called to ask the nature of this charge. I was told that this was the fee charged by my bank to use my card to pay. My card does not charge any such fee, nor is there any notation anywhere on their website that this fee would be added, nor was I informed about this charge either when I paid nor when I made the reservation. I am disputing this fee with my bank, and I will never stay here again, this fee is total BS. Had I been informed about this fee I would have paid cash, instead I was told I had to use a credit card to make the reservation and my bank has confirmed to me that they do not charge any such fee when I use my debit...

My friend, who invited me to go fishing, has a home on Grand Isle and keeps his boat at home as well. We decided to put the boat in the nite before so we could get an early start the next morning. They charge $15 for an overnite slip. The boat launch is well maintain and has a reasonable sloap. I have a 2 wheel drive tahoe pulling a 22 foot sea hunt and had no problems taking her out. Also purchased my fishing licence here as well .. convenient. |This place sells about everything you could need for a day of fishing .. live bait and artificial bait, a large selection of fishing gear, biscuits for breakfast for you early risers, ice and all types of drinks.|They offer fish cleaning stations with water and electicity .. free. Plenty of area for parking and areas for sitting which are covered in case of bad weather. Didn't eat at the restaurant so can't brief you on that but was very satisfied...
