Oldie but goodie. The historic River Park Inn Green Cove Springs. Amazing evidence the whole weekend. #haunted #paranormal #historichomes #greencovesprings

Was there for 6 days and in two rooms one room reeked of mold when you walked in and both had black mold and two other students from national truck also had black mold in their rooms as well. Glad the school supports 2 vets and other students to stay in this hotel.

Great small Inn aka motel. Clean, perfect for use while attending driving school. Beautiful area out back with grills, tables, hammock, swing. Ice machine.

We enjoyed our week long stay while we toured the area and local marina. Green Cove Springs Inn is a re-vitalized 1950's style roadside Inn I used to visit when my dad would take us to Florida in the Winter for a few weeks. Our room was large, with ceramic tile floor, twin beds, microwave and refridge plus the usual dresser. Sheets were clean with shams on pillows that matched the bedspread and the beds were comfortable enough for my bad back. Our room overlooked the back yard and it was nice to look out on green grass via the electric powered window blind. We did not watch the digital wide screen TV too much but there were all our usual fav's like SciFi, Discover, History and HSN. The towels were plentiful and clean plus the fluffy water absorbing cotton type. The shower put out a good amount of water from the larger type spray head. Room paint was good colors, fairly fresh with no smells. In fact since I have allergies I am sensitive to unusual smells and I had no symptoms in this room for a week. The telephone in our room remained unused all week since we have cellular. All in all this room is equal to or just a little better than the Comfort Inns and Suites we also stay in with about equal amounts of hidden dust, exposed dust and the usual sort of stuff you find when the rooms are maintianed by hired help. Lighting is more than adequate with a mixed bag of flourscent, wall lamps and table lamps.||||While I was negotiating our weekly rate the receptionist (who is also chief cook and bottle washer too) and I had a long conversation and she handled my questions, objections and statements well - I was impressed - so I just had to meet the manager. Our arrival went without hitch since I told her we would be here about 1600 hrs ( being a small operations she is called elsewhere sometimes).||||There is a train track about a 1/4 mile away with a few trains per day. This did not couse us any grief and was completely drowned out by the hum of the airconditioner. In fact, room to room noise was completely unheard as well. The airconditioner is the cycling type - fan goes on and off - so this may bother but it did not bother our lighter sleepers.||||We felt secure at this hotel. My wife went out regularly with our little 6# Morkie at all hours. Some people may feel a little intimidated by the people since it is a mix of tourists, workers and overnight transients but that would be unfounded fear. A regular group used the charcoal grill on the back portch that ws near our room 10 and that area is not well lit when dark. While we did not mingle too much we never felt any vibes and people were friendly enough. The front parking lot was adequate and our vehicle remained untouched the full time we were here.||||Bottom line is that we will use this place as our GCS headquarters while we launch our boat in the...

This place was nasty, very dirty, floor would make your white socks black. Lady at the front desk was never around I tried to check in twice and she didnt answer. I dont know why people would stay here. Seems like the owner of this dump doesnt care about anything but his money. He needs to invest money in this place. I was here a day and had a cold due to the durt in this place. I would never tell someone to come here because I would be beyond embarrassed. The pictures of this place are nice they may have been taken back 6 years ago but as of today this is not what it looks like. There are huge roches in this place and it is very bad. The appliances are rusty and dont work that well. If you like to live dirty then this is the place for you but for the people who want to get their money worth and have a healthy time DONT STAY HERE you'll get colds, runny nose, sneezing, you name it. Plus the pictures are moldy and the bathroom fans are moldy and dirty. I would not lie I will be posting pics of what this place really looks like.. The hotel is located in an area that traffic is high there is noisy if you stay in the front in the back its not that bad but you can still hear it. There is no fitness center this dump doesnt offer anything. AC and heat has a nasty smell and makes a lot of noise, the tv makes a loud high pitch sound that hurts the ears. the furniture is old and dilapidated. The ceiling looks like there is water damage and like a poor job fixing it. THE OWNER NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ASAP stop stacking the money fix the dump get new staff because the male and female that are here all the time are a bit lazy. By the way the beds will blow your back out and they are old. The phone doesnt work fire alarm has paint over it and it says DO NOT PAINT OVER IT the ceiling walls are cracked it looks like the whole thing could fall on me. I wish I worked for the department of hospitality/ health because this place would be shut down. They need the fire inspector to come through as well. Everyone that stayed in the 4 rooms next to me told me that this place was nasty the construction people told me that they been to worse places and it is by far better then this place. this place has a nasty smell. On one of the reviews it says that this place has power window shades and new light fixures kinda up scale. This is a lie maybe an enployee wrote this or maybe a selected room. I have seen four rooms in the front and they all looked...

Recently stayed at the "Inn" for a few days while on a fishing trip/family visit. Friendly staff and very helpful emailing back and forth while making the reservations. Security/Handy man went out of his way to help us with parking our boat and helping us make sure we had a way to keep it charged. "Inn" is a re-vitalized roadside motor court, our room was very clean, large and comfortable with tile floors, microwave, refridge, coffee maker...plus an "electric shade". Sheets and towles were clean and shower put out good water pressure. Wide scree TV and cable. Room had a "backyard" view, which was very relaxing. We are smokers and the rooms as all non-smoking, but we just stepped out the door to the patio area. Grounds and parking lot were very clean and well kept. Only suggestion, a larger "table" for in room eating and a place to put your suitcase if you are only staying a few days and don't want to un-pack. Overall a "GREAT" place to stay. With family in the area and great fishing within a 30 minute drive...will...
