Groveport Resort — Hotel in Grove

Another fantastic stay! Such great hosts. Amazing what they have done in just 2 yrs to this place! They are always available and asking if everything is alright while working hard everyday on property. Gets better every time I visit! Used to stay at Best Western as I passed through town, but this is so much nicer being on the water and quieter. Place is super clean, newly decorated. All the different rooms, cabins have been perfectly appointed for all my needs and beyond. Even better than most Airbnbs I have stayed at for much higher rates. Perfect lake location right on water and close to everything in town. Really good fishing right off their docks. Have firepits, pool, outdoor seating to enjoy the outdoor property. No reason to ever leave the property it is so well furnished and peaceful. Except Grove has lots of really good low priced...

Great ownership makes a huge difference! Could not be more accomodating and welcoming. Made sure I had everything I needed and took the time to make sure I knew how to work the heaters and t.v. remotes, etc. You can tell it really matters to them that you enjoy your time there. Unlike hotel in town I stayed at that only cared about doubling their price after initial good reviews, and could care less if you even get a good nights rest and very rude. This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! We stayed in May 2022 and it was excellent. The rooms are updated with all the features and amenities of a mainstream hotel, but WAY more personal with a cute lake vibe. We loved the back porch that looks over the lake.
