Fort De Soto Campground Store — Hotel in Gulfport

I honestly do not understand what is the point of the "campground store" when it sells virtually nothing pertaining to camping.

First thing first there are 20+ stairs, which for older folk may be an issue. Elevator, at least in my experience has always been broken so I don't know if its broken permanently or regularly.

Store itself is selling extremely limited supply of "I don't feel like driving to town" stuff and nothing to do with camping at all. This is probably the first park store I have ever seen that has no camping supplies, not for rvs, not for...

Beyond beautiful campground. The store is very small and only stocks essentials and a few fun things but it always seems to have just what you need....or rather forgot to bring. The gift store items are very nice. The 2nd story balcony is the perfect place to enjoy pizza and ice cream. Everyone there is always so nice and friendly. This place is beautiful, it is the beginning of May and because of the breeze it is vary comfortable.

The campground itself is vary clean and the staff vary friendly. There is a pet friendly side.

The only draw back if any, is that there is no rv drain hook ups on sight so if you where to stay for a while or you have a large group you will have to either hookup and dump or use the...
