Cliff House — Hotel in Hawaii

Simply put, this was by far one of the best experiences we've had staying at a vacation home! From the moment of our first inquiry, to the very end of checking out, Susan (the owner) was warm and welcoming, attentive to our needs, and quick to respond to any and all of our requests. The home, The Cliffhouse, with its modern and tidy decor, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We absolutely loved the location - we were steps away from the beautiful eastern coast of the island while also being roughly 40 mins to Volcano National Park. Downtown Hilo and it's numerous array of restaurants (Moms Hilo, Hawaii Style Cafe, Pho 19, etc.), specialty stores (Two Ladies) and beaches (Carlsmith, Onekahakaha, etc.) was about a 20 min drive. Because of the home's centrality, we were able to do and experience so much of the Hilo side without wasting precious time traveling. I could not recommend this home anymore! My family and I had a wonderful time on the Big Island, thanks to the gracious hospitality of our host Susan and the beautiful, roomy Paradise Suite. Our host was exceptionally helpful with advice on what to do and where to go.

The suite was very charming and had many modern touches, and it seemed like it was either recently built or remodeled. The Paradise Suite has blackout shades and is perfect for privacy in the evening if you want it. The kitchen had everything we needed (large fridge, stove, dishwasher, pots/pans, etc.) and was perfect for preparing breakfasts to eat on the lanai...

My wife and I had a wonderful week long stay in the Ocean Suite. We enjoyed everything about the space. In the day time we love being able to see the ocean, in the evenings we enjoyed sitting on our little balcony, listening to the waves crash. The room itself was comfortable and clean.
