Updated: My boyfriend and I ended up staying 5 evenings in a row. Unfortunately after the 5th day I asked if I could stay again, and get the same rate... The manager Klinton accepted however, they actually drove me away before that night stay. If this was my only experience I would have changed ot to the lowest rating. Firat off, the evening before I was cleaning out my car is the parking lot and the man working at night made me feel like I was rrying to break into MY OWN room when I asked for the key. He followed me to my door and sat there until I found my ID, but not before making sure I was escorted and knocking on the door to male sure no one else is in there. He could have just called the room and I had received keys plenty of rimes, but this time I was in sweatpants. I felt completely stereotyped. When Klinton (the manager) said I coukd stay another night for the same rate I was already hesitant because of this issue (which I brought up and was completely ignored.) As soon as they knew I wanted a room for the evening calls flodded inn wanting to pay full price for the room (they had already promised me a discounted rate.) At this point they told mw I had to take every bag out so they could clean and put all my stuff in my car... What?! I have a shoulder injury and they had already moved me around like cattle. I ended up leaving and will not return. No one asked me if I needed help with my bags either. (Unfortunately the two people I gave praise to were not working... They were still very nice.) I've never been treated thia way, theu shouldn't have promised something they weren't willing to deliver... It's almost like they were playing monopoly with guests.
Old Review: Absolutely amazing place to stay! The staff including Daniel and Megan were so sweet and made us feel welcome immediately. Our plans were to stay for one evening and decided to extend for four :) would...
Read moreThe Inn is surrounded by beautiful grounds which we enjoyed exploring. We had a "deluxe king room". Because we were traveling, we had a cooler full of perishable food, much of which we tried to fit inside the small refrigerator which was located inside a cabinet. We attempted to adjust the temperature of the fridge down, in hopes of freezing our ice packs for the next day's travel. The next morning we opened the cabinet to find it quite warm. Inside the little refrigerator nothing was cold. We should have known that a refrigerator trapped inside a cabinet would not be able to function properly. It was a shame to have to throw out my sister's homemade potato salad! We sent a message via email to the front desk regarding our concern about the location of and poor functioning of the refrigerator. We have had no response. Be aware that you cannot count on keeping any food or beverage cold should you stay at this place. Hopefully no one will get sick for lack of proper...
Read moreHi, we have stayed here before. The location is stunning. The hotel is a great place to stay. We asked for a room on the backside for a view of the mountains and vineyards. It's a bit bigger a room as well. ||A couple personal preferences...|I personally am not a fan of those European open showers myself, but it still gets the job done. Our room 215 could use a new matttress. My husband and I always say the staff never sleeps at a hotel so they don't know anything about the mattresses. One recommendation...to have decaf coffee as well. As a nutritionist, there are many people who love coffee but can't handle the amp but still want a cup of coffee. ||A fluke...We had a TV problem when we arrived after 12 midnight from Los Angeles and had to have them come figure out how to turn the TV off as it wouldn't shut off at 12:30 AM. ||We would stay here again as it is central to many destinations up in...
