I just had the absolutely worst possible experience at this hotel. I made a reservation. I received a confirmation number and I did an online check-in. When I arrived at the hotel the check in was still valid, I looked. It gave me the option to check out before 1100. There was nowhere that I was notified that my reservation would be canceled if I arrived after midnight. I arrived at 5 minutes past midnight waited for 20 minutes in the lobby while other people had problems and then was told my reservation was canceled because my card did not go through. I never received any notification of this, no phone call, no email, nothing. No notice in the app either. I was checking my email and messages throughout the evening. ||Then, the person at the desk could not make a reservation for me. In 30+ years of travel I have never been to a hotel that could not make a reservation. I was told I had to go online and do it. The online system was down for maintenance so I called the reservation number on speakerphone in the lobby. They made a reservation for me and then the front desk person told me that I didn’t have a reservation and she couldn’t give me the keys. Even though she heard the whole process. As a disabled veteran, or really as anyone, it is absolutely ludicrous that I had to experience this level of incompetence. The front desk person would not explain things in a clear and coherent manner. When I asked her for clarification at least 6 times for different issues , she said, “I already told you,” each time. This happened repeatedly. I obviously did not understand and was asking for clarification which she was unable to give. Without clarification I can’t understand and do something to fix the problem. ||Part of my military disability is PTSD and with that anxiety disorder. I had a panic attack. When I realized I was having a panic attack, I immediately left and asked my family member to complete the transaction. The front desk person refused. What gives? This is the worst I’ve seen EVER. ||For the record, I was not the only person she was short with, I witnessed two other problems while waiting 20 minutes for the three people in front of me. ||This is my first experience with any Wyndham property, and I definitely will not be using a Wyndham property again even if it the only thing available. The reservation line was just as incompetent and rude so I’m not really sure how this company stays in business. I’d rather sleep in my truck or in a dive motel. I ended up driving 2 hours at 1am to find another place. ||Avoid this place...
Read moreAll the staff members are extremely rude, first room I received was in the very rear of building B first floor and it was dirty. Had no sheets, no blankets, pillows with no cases on the floor, and no towels. Trash was scattered all over the room and greasy food was obviously eating at the desk and dirty rags in the sink. After walking back to the office it was obvious i was interrupting and greatly inconveniencing the desk clerk by asking for a clean room. Received the room next door to the first room and come to find out it was in even worst condition than the first room. After getting my third room 2nd floor mid B building. The first thing I notice was the black mold and mildew smell that PUNCHED me in the face as I opened the door. The maids obviously don’t vacuum or wipe down any surfaces down, so if your high risk for Covid find somewhere else to stay. Room was extremely hot due to the a/c being off and the room never cooled off after turning it on. The black out curtains are a joke, and you get more light from around the door jams then you do from the only 2 working lamps in the room. The shower had very low water pressure and I still felt dirty after showering. The shower curtain rod was extremely loose and the 2 cheep towels don’t fully dry you. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything around you including trains from across the highway all night. The WiFi went in and out the entire stay and was so slow I couldn’t get any work done from my computer. The mattresses are so cheep and uncomfortable I had a very hard time falling asleep. After I did finally doze off the room phone startled me awake 330am, the local railroad houses their employees here and I guess there was confusion on what rooms the employees are in, because after 14 calls back to back seconds apart and me calling the front desk from my cellphone to no avail they stopped calling. Door hinge at the top of the stairs was not connected to the wall so a door stop was used to hold it open, smoke alarms have tape over them, fire alarm/ flood light was sitting on the window seal in the corridor. This hotel needs to be condemned and immediately bulldozed down, or at the very least not be advertised on the Wyndham website or google maps. Oh and by the way don’t eat at the diner in the parking lot, you will get food poisoning and spent the rest of your trip stopping at every gas...
Read moreTheir website is very deceptive. Booked two "double rooms" for a group of four , and ended up with two rooms each with a single double bed. No pull out sofa and no rollaway beds available on premises, so two of us ended up sleeping on chairs (not even recliners). As a Wyndam rewards customer, I was given coupons for free breakfast at the quaint 50s style dinner on theproperty, but was not able to use them Each morning we were told there was a 1 hour wait, even though there was literally only one table occupied in the whole place When I first ally complained on the third day, we were told that the looking surface was too small to be able to cook for more than about four people at a time, so they could o lying serve one family at a time. Finally, of the two elevators in the building we were occupying, only one - on the opposite end of the building - allowed you to go upstairs and down. The other did not allow you to go up, and if you came down from the 2nd floor you could not access the rooms on the 1st floor, but had to exit the building and walk around to the other side to reenter. Very...
