The only issues I have with this location after staying here for more than 20 years is the staff and rangers talking to me every time about my electric pev. I'm well aware of the outdated rules and regulations regarding electric devices of the trail, although it's okay for electric bikes. Update your rules for the modern world we live in. And from someone who stays here regularly, I'd appreciate respect in the campground instead of feeling the need to tell me the rules every time.

Excellent time camping here with scout troop and biking the trail. Location is gorgeous and quiet. Hard getting tent stakes in the ground here. Wish there were group campsites like other states parks. It's quite expensive and logistically challenging to book for a large group. Restrooms were clean and water source was adequate.

The campsite is very well managed by people who genuinely want to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a gift shop where you check-in that has souvenirs that include windbreakers, long and short sleeve shirts, and sweatshirts that would be great if you left something behind or if it was cooler than expected. The camp store has lots of basic supplies including ice and firewood at reasonable prices. The toilets are kept clean. Camp employees visit the campsites often delivering firewood, answering questions and letting everyone know about hazardous weather, nearby points of interest, local wildlife, etc. The campsites are kept in great condition and include a picnic table, a bench, a pole for hanging lamps, wet clothes, etc and a fire pit with adjustable grill. Wagons are provided for hauling gear from your car. All in all a great...

Visited on a Saturday and was surprised at the number of people on this day. Usually I visit the park during the week and I have it almost to myself. This park is clean well kept and the park employees are kind and attentive. It’s been a pleasure to visit here. If I’m fishing or floating the river or taking a bike ride on the trail it’s always been a good time. I wish all our parks were so well kept. To all those that work at the park. Good job and thanks...
