Towering Pines — Hotel in Hochatown

This cabin is an absolute joy!!! This is the second time we have stayed here and it truly is a magical experience. Nobody wanted to leave yesterday! It is so well-designed and well-cared for. We take a group of people each summer on a trip that started in 2021 when my son graduated from high school. We wanted to do something special for him and his friends and this cabin was where we ended up. It became such an important part of our adventure, last year when we were unable to book it, all we talked about was how much we missed this cabin. From the three levels of bedrooms (with a space perfect for teens or young adults in the bottom) to fantastic kitchen (not only are there wonderful appliances to cook on but a pantry with storage space) to a fantastic hot tub to outdoor games and a wonderful fire pit, this is just a dream. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this cabin and the owners/hosts are. They have seriously thought through every detail from a family perspective. Tons of space - indoors and out - with thoughtful touches in every room. The information and communication provided before and during our stay made it completely stress-free. Our children are older, but I love that they even have ways to keep little ones from accessing the treehouse and hot tub. The washer and dryer made it very easy to avoid coming home with bags of laundry and wet swimsuits. Everything was very clean and organized as well. Our family (son & family, daughter & family) of six adults and seven grandkids ages 10 -1 stayed at Towering Pines over spring break. The kids had a blast playing on the slides and exploring in the woods right at the cabin. The layout of the cabin was ideal for us. The kitchen was very nice and was supplied with everything we possibly could have needed. All the bathrooms were luxurious.
