My daughter and I booked here because we had a flier that showed beautiful photos of clear springs, and open water for swimming. When we arrived we were VERY disappointed as the place is not ANYTHING like the photos. The rv spots are in front of the office area in a small cal-de-sac gravel road and are so very very close together it was almost impossible to back into. There wasn’t even room enough to extend the canopy all the way without hitting the large tree in the spot. Once we got in we walked down to the river and realized it wasn’t goi g to be suitable for the 4 small children we had with us as it looked like a gator haven. We immediately went to the office to ask about leaving and were told that the manager would have to make that decision and he “would be back momentarily” so we went out to wait outside our rvs. When I checked the office an hour later bc he had not shown up, I found him at his desk, feet propped up eating lunch. 😡😡 I told him of the situation and asked him to please come down so that we could talk about what our options were. He didn’t come for another 45 minutes. By that time the kids were grumpy they were asking and whining to leave and we had had enough, so we told him under no uncertain terms that we wanted to leave and we expected to receive a refund as he had kept us waiting for so long and the photos that the online photos were not representative of the campground. He admitted that they were of area springs but there was no mention of this) He said that the owner would have to make that decision and he would call us back the next day. When I didn’t hear back from him after a week, I called and left a message again asking for a phone call and return. To this day I have not heard back I would caution others from booking at this place before actually going there and seeing what it’s all about. Hook ups are antiquated and difficult to locate as they are covered by leaves and debris . The park itself very seedy looking and had I known this I would not have booked there. Also, as you can see with our experience management does not consider it’s customers important enough to attend...

Never will I ever return. And not because the river isn't great. It's because the old man and old woman running the place are back woods scary people in this micro miniature campground (it's a parking lot). I accidentally parked my vehicle incorrectly at the ladies shower/restroom taking up 2 spaces in the gravel parking lot. Mind you, the lot was 100 empty. Took a 15m shower and returned to my vehicle. The old man and woman placed a cinder block, yes, a huge double cinder block in front of my rear wheel, attempting to harm my vehicle on purpose. They approached me and accused me of not being allowed to be there because I didn't have my camping parking pass in the windshield of the vehicle. They said they were trying to keep the park "safe" from outsiders and rif raf. I assured them which space I rented for 3 days pointing to my camper and removed the cinder block from under my vehicle. The man became aggressive towards me and placed it back under my tire until I produced the pass, so I walked 20 meters to our camper and got the pass to show them. They are very scary people and a perfect example of the fuel that movies look for when creating Florida back woods back road scary movies. Campers BEWARE... ( in hindsight , I should have called the police for their attempt to damage my vehicle but we were camping with kids so I saved my voice for...

I can not say enough good things about this campground. Shaggy is amazing! He was so welcoming and told us all about the tours we could take with the kids. Amazing first impression. Growing up in the area it’s always so fun to come home and to be able to hear about places I’ve never been is pretty awesome. He answered all questions and was ready and willing to help with all of our needs. We were greeted by the owners and welcomed by everyone. Our room was nice and clean and had snacks, and all new appliances. We were able to fish right off the docks and caught an abundance of mangrove snappers. The offer clear bottom kayak tours as well! My kids were able to bike everywhere and ride their electric scooters. Across the street is the chazz river resort where you can eat ice cream and launch easily from the docks. The view is incredible and I’m proud to say I was lucky enough to grow up on the water I’m the area. We were able to snag some local honey, play with some French bull dogs, visit the bee farms, bike down the trails, and see cows! The crack and surrounding springs are definitely a sight to see. We had so much fun making dinners for family on the campfire, cooking s’mores and enjoying the beautiful wildlife. What a great weekend thank you Zack, Kim Austin Shaggy and Michelle for such an amazing weekend. We will be...

I wouldn't camp there again, if they paid me. Staff just dgaf, the lots are recycled asphalt, not tiny pieces like gravel, like softball sized pieces mixed in with golf ball sized pieces. Our picnic table was 3 feet from the next lots sewage hook up, there was no where to move the picnic table. Their website is very deceiving, all of the photos weren't even taken at this campground. We were there for 4 days, we couldn't move everyone else was booked for memorial week end. We saw 3 different sets of people pull up, go inside the office and promptly leave after they saw their spot. The place is a run down hole in the wall. They "tried" to update, and failed miserably. Cut offs from boards and rail road ties all over the place. Evidently they decided not to have cable anymore so they ripped the boxes out of the ground, cut the cables and left everything laying there at each lot. The place smelled like their drain field was full or something. Scott was very nice, the other two acted like they didn't want to be bothered. It was the only place we could find a spot for the holiday weekend, and now we know why. You're way better off camping across the road at the Chassahowitzka campground, it's huge, it's very nice, it's clean, every lot is in the shade and it didn't smell . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT SEVEN SISTERS!!!!!
