Howdy Folks!!!! She Hulk Here!!! 2013 Gecko Lime Green Jeep Wrangler build: 2.5 Metal Cloak 35/17/RT Stinger Bumper and Winch. That is it. I experienced and conquered trails 1,2,3,4 and 5 💎 I got all 3 badge trails there. I wheeled about 12-15 different trails over the weekend with pictures and live feeds to prove it. 🤣 I also bought a "Gold Membership" blind never being there and so glad I did. It will make me make that 6-7 hour trip from Fort Worth, Texas.
Omg! I can not express enough to make it to this park. Where do I even begin? The staff, since that was my first encounter. Exceptional Staff, all around. They were so helpful, happy answering the phone (each time I called) no matter what time of day. They kept the lines moving for a quick speedy check in (no matter the # of people) with a smile on their face. Helped on the floor and in the lot. Check In process (get Gold Pass) eazy breezy! Lines well marked at entry! And dang I highly suggest that you... DON'T YOU DARE SPEED That is a big No,No...for good a reason. So much foot traffic in that area, kids, dogs really..😂 that is all that matters. Hehehe.. And if they are your friends speeding...I suggest you don't let friends speed.😂 5MPH P. E. R. I. O. D. Moving on...😂 The store has everything you may need for easy maintenance, quick repair, food forgets, clothes, fresh ground beans for your own coffee, and that amazing smiling staff to assist you. No, I don't know a soul there to keep mentioning the staff.... Just have been to a few parks in my short 2 years wheeling and have experienced a few dead beets.. ...Also, from Texas and we appreciate a darn good smiling face, ya hear? The bathrooms kept cleaned daily for those tent camping or need access to bathrooms. The pavilion was an amazing setup and a great shelter if needed from the rain, if tent camping. I was in a small RV no bathroom, with 30amp so those things are important to me. The trails were well maintained, fun, exciting and absolutely well marked. No way to get lost out there unless your map blows out or you can't read a map. Most trails end up right off a main road somewhere. Rain or shine the trails are absolutely fun to navigate, send it, skinny pedal and not stress about anything. 🙈🙏🏻 They are challenging up there in the 5 💎area, but definitely still achievable for the skill levels looking for a challenge. Up or down wet or dry...seen with my own eyes in the rain the excitement is definitely there, a few "uh" moments.😂 The skill levels were well marked and I feel rated accordingly. Each trail that was challenging for that level had a bypass if needed, so that made it easy when mixing up your groups with less advanced, dare devils or "this is my daily driver" folks with you. I hope this helps you make your decision easy enough to make it to this park, for...

Came back and had another great day. Did all three BOH trails and many more. I used my skid plates and rock rails a good bit. This time I had high clearance fenders and it greatly helped. Only rubbed a few times when I was really flexed. My Jeep is still sitting on a 2in lift on 34s so I added some skid plates to the differentials. I used them both. I did some hard threes and a couple fours and felt much better having the extra protection.
We went across the road this time as well. That side is pretty serious. The "roads" between the trails are rated and some would swear they are a trail themselves. A ton of loose rock so lockers came in handy. We were solo so I didn't get too crazy. I remember we did H1 and King Cobra. They were good. You could tell that side is less traveled.

This place rocked! A buddy and I went and we loved it. We completed all the Badge of Honor Trails and a few more in a single day. My suggestion would be to do Snake, Fun Run, and then Rubicon Ridge. Especially if you have someone new to wheeling like my wife was. It prepared her pretty good for that drop in on Rubicon.
The staff was very friendly when we got there and took the time to show us on the map where we needed to go to accomplish our goals.
Also know they have air stations outside the office for airing back up. It was very convenient not having to get out my compressor and hook it up and all.
My Jeep: 17 Rubicon, w/2" Mopar lift, and a 34" tire. I made it through everything well but was rubbing my rear inner fenders often. I tried to go up a rock step on RR but just didn't have large enough tires. I could have winched but selected the bypass. I think some high clearance fenders and a little larger tire is in my Jeep's future. Even with that my Jeep really surprised me with how capable they are and I had a great time.
My buddy: 16 Rubicon, 3.5" lift, and 37s. He made it through everything easy and walked right up that spot I took the bypass.
I would go...
Read moreHad a fantastic time and recommend this park for all experience levels. We came two weeks prior to visit Hot Springs with no intention of wheeling. We heard about the park and decided to check it out. By the end of the first day we were booking to come back the following day and then after the second day before we were headed back to Texas, we asked if the had any camping spots open Memorial Weekend. They said they were completely booked but would add us to their waiting list. With in two days they called and said they had a spot available! Trails were marked fairly well, although there were a couple that were not marked on the map and I ended up not where I thought I would. But if you have any sense of direction you won’t have any issues. As far as the camping is concerned it was nice. We had an RV spot with water and electric. If we go back we will definitely camp on the creek side. The spots were larger and better graveled. Also, the camping spots that are against the road are noisy and dusty and the Side by Sides were flying by all night long!! As soon as they turned the curve around the back side of the camp sites they would take off. This is our first off road experience and I guess I was expecting the Jeeps to out number the SXS but it was quite the opposite. I don’t want to deter anyone from coming because this is an absolutely wonderful park and the staff was great as well, but the some of the folks in the SXS could practice trail etiquette. The only other thing I wish was communicated better was trail passes. I guess I should have assumed, but I thought the the trails were covered with the purchase of a camp site. When we got the camp site nothing was said about the trail passes. I have no issues about paying the fees just wish it was said from the beginning so we could have paid all at once. Also, if you think there is a chance you will be back definitely look into the membership. It’s worth it!! Thanks again to all of the park staff. We will...
