We enjoyed Tiffany's and the hospitality and good company of Bob, Tiffany, Buddy the sweetest, most mellow doggie in the world, and kitties - Mr. Mephistopholes and JagPlanning our 2024 Total Solar Eclipse trip well a year ahead of time and seeing that Hot Springs, Arkansas was pretty much on the center line of the path, sometimes around March of 2023 I stumbled upon the website for Tiffany's Bed and Breakfast set in the more rural hills above the Bismarck, the next town southwest of Hot Springs. Stellar reviews all around, and everyone raving about Tiffany & Bob's friendly and genuine hospitality (FOR good reason, we learned during our stay).||But what drew me in was the opportunity to enter a drawing for first right of refusal to reserve one of the rooms for their special 3-night minimum stay 2024 Total Eclipse package; everything was spelled out clearly - higher than normal nightly rate (as was true for all lodgings in the area and generally across the country for the few days around the eclipse) offering all the amenities of a regular stay, plus several few extras related to the eclipse (special eclipse poster with a historic Hot Springs, AR theme; picnic blanket; eclipse viewing glasses; eclipse-themed snack bag; and a special, lunch of grilled burgers and brats, solar kebabs, lawn games and special eclipse-shadow fun stuff, and other treats prepared by Tiffany and Bob, with the BEST benefit of all being this was a private viewing party for the total 6 guests of the inn's 3 guest rooms, far and away from the crowds and traffic that would be happening down in Hot Springs during eclipse festival days!! So I entered the drawing and hoped for the best. On September 1, 2023, right on schedule. I was thrilled to receive an email that my name had been drawn, so I called as soon as I could, learning I was also the first one to call, so had my pick of the three rooms... Chose the Ouichata, which happens to be the largest, with the most comfortable King bed and a wonderful bathroom with deep jetted whirlpool bath and separate shower. Take my word for it, the pictures on the the website are good, but don't do the spacious size of both bedroom and bathroom justice.||Breakfasts were delicious, and so were Bob's excellent brewed coffee! Plus that tray of Bob's famous, yummy, moist and chewy brownies greeting guests in the room upon arrival.||We enjoyed conversation around the large table our first 2 mornings with the other couples who had also scored the eclipse package. They had arrived 1 day earlier and left on April 9; we arrived April 7 and left early morning April 10, with a take-away breakfast care package specially prepared by Tiffany - large homemade cheesy-sausage cupcake shaped biscuits (meant to be heated but in a pinch soooo delicious, even at room temp!!) and apple??/cinnamon scones. Totally hit the spot when we reached Little Rock airport for our flight home! Best part, although we were leaving the house at 7:00, well before the rest of the house was up (our eclipse-party pals were one day ahead of us both coming and going, but one new post-event couple had arrived the afternoon of April 9), Tiffany & Bob and of course sweet dog Buddy were up to say their goodbyes and make us coffee or tea if we wanted that.||Tiffany and Bob are both so generous and kind, congenial, well-traveled, interesting, hard-working, knowledgeable about all kinds of resources in the area, and soooooo helpful and responsive to special needs. It was a pleasure to share their beautiful home and serene, wooded property for a few days, and we appreciate the whimsical eclipse-themed extras they devised for the what might be a once-in-a-lifetime total solar eclipse viewing party.... Next total solar eclipse won't be until August 23, 2044!!||Also, April-May might be the perfect time of year to visit beautiful Arkansas. Nice temps, before the heat, before the bugs, before/after the chill of winter.||We might make a point to go back. Arkansas is a very scenic and relaxing place to visit - and I would choose Tiffany's Bed and Breakfast in...
Read moreIf you're traveling to Hot Springs or anywhere in the surrounding area, STOP considering other places and BOOK a room at Tiffany's. Right now. Seriously go. My wife and I have been to Hotel Hot Springs, and several AirBnB's in the area, and none of those visits ever came close to what last weekend entailed. We stayed from Friday night until Monday afternoon and it is likely the most enjoyable stay we've had at a bed and breakfast ever. Their dog Buddy will be more than happy to accept pets from you. I'm not sure where to start. The brownies in the room on arrival? The fresh water carafe that's refilled in your refrigerator daily? The excellent location that's far enough away from civilization to see the stars properly with a firepit nearby and a bench stocked with firewood, fire starters, and a lighter? The INCREDIBLE breakfast served there (seriously, you won't find a better breakfast even if you go into town and pay for it.)? It's mine and my wife's new forever location for hot springs, hands down.
Our breakfasts were things like farmer's frittatas, banana and cinnamon scones with a light icing, pears with almond cream sauce, eggs l'orange (a light, fluffy egg with a croissant type bread in the center stuffed with orange marmalade), hatch green chili and queso sausages, strawberry parfaits, blueberry pineapple crisps, and hashbrown omelettes... Those are just a few of the things we had during our stay and there wasn't a single thing I ate that I didn't love.
The drive from the B&B to Hot Springs isn't bad at all. 20 minutes, but it's scenic and takes you past several ranches and you get plenty of gorgeous mountain skylines. The neat part is that the 20 minute routes can take you to either side of Hot Springs as well, so you aren't too far away from anything there.
To top it off, Tiffany and Bob are amazing people. They're as nice as they get, easy to talk to, and can help you with recommendations for where to eat / go.
I really can't say enough about this. Even as I write this review, I'm already planning our next trip back. Seriously, spend the money -- stay here....

Down stairs is some fun games. We made some new friends and learned how to ply the game Farckle after coming in from town. There is no curfew you are given a key. The porch area has checkers and rockers and a wonderful view of nature. If your lucky you will see some wildlife like humming birds and deer.
I recommend this for a romantic getaway rather it be baby moon, honey moon, anniversary, a weekend away, or even a birthday get away for a couple. Just give this place a try you will not retreat this Bed...
