If you are looking for a good night stay near the Houston IAH airport, then keep looking
. this is NOT it! I’ve never felt the need to write a review about a business before, but my friend and I felt as though this needed to be done. While the price seems great and the location is in a good location for overnight layovers, the room and service was terrible! Once arriving in the lobby, the smell of cigarettes and marijuana had overwhelmed us. When we found our room, we learnt that the main lights did not work, just one tiny lamp in the corner. One out of the two locks on the door was broken and there were bugs crawling out of the bathroom pipes, going all over the walls. The sheets were not cleaned, nor were the towels as they were covered in old make-up stains and hair. While checking for bed bugs, we had noticed there were a few red/brown stains on the mattress
who even knows what substance it was. Thankfully, we didn’t notice any bed bugs! The water had an odd order that filled the room once you turned any taps on - definitely not drinkable. Throughout the night, there were strange noises outside our room that continued to wake us up. As well, the advertisements had claimed to have a shuttle service for the full day. However, this was not the case. They had only offered the shuttle service from 5am - 10am, which was incredibly inconvenient for many travellers. While the morning shuttle driver was friendly, the other workers were rude. They paid no attention to our questions and would try to ignore our concerns if it was inconvenient for them. While you may want to find a room for a cheap price near the airport, we advise that you...

During Coronavirus shutdowns I was grateful this place was operating. ||While I appreciate it being the lowest cost hotel I could find in the area, I don't appreciate that it cost as much as it did for the poor conditions.||||I stood outside sweating while the clerk struggled to find my reservation in the system which took at least 10 minutes if not more.||Business was done through the mail slot in the side of the door. I don't really have a problem with that but all they had to do was wear a mask (people were walking around the airport in masks).||||The A/C was set on heat and the room was hot when I got in. (At night) There was no instruction card on how to use it and while, it was simple enough for me to figure it out, I really shouldn't have had to sit there and work with that after standing outside in the heat.||||This was a non smoking room and as you can see in my photos the used ice bucket had burn marks from being used as an ashtray and the blanket was clearly used by a smoker.||The bathroom lights were behind the bathroom door in a "cubby" and the door would not stay open to reach them. One of the bathroom lights did not function.||There was no pen and pad by the bed and no plastic bag for laundry. ||The floors appear to be nice wood floors and the room was in good shape otherwise. ||The clerk was polite when I had to call three times in the first five minutes I was there. But to be fair I did not report the ashtray, blanket and door and...

The motel is close to the airport. That is the only good thing I found.||||Check in was OK. I asked for a wake up call to catch the shuttle back to the airport. The attendant said he would call.||||Upon arriving at the room, I discovered that the safety catch on the entrance door was broken. The light switch beside the door turned nothing on.||||The phone was dead. So I went back to the front office and said so. They said they would send someone to fix it. It did not happen. After a short while I went back to the front desk and they said it would be fixed in the morning. The attendant said he would knock on my door at the wake up time.||||Back in the room, I discover the phone is now turning the speaker on and off about every four seconds. I unplugged it.||||The refrigerator was making all sorts of noises and I had to turn it off.||||Going to the bathroom I find the towel bar and the soap dispenser missing off the wall, with only the screws and/holes on the wall. There were no glasses. The ice machine outside dispensed ice with little black specks.||||The three drawer dresser had the middle drawer missing. There were suspicious white stains on the only chair in the room.||||The wake up call? It was 16 minutes late.||||It is a bad...

This place is exactly what I needed, plus a little more. Basics: -Super affordable rooms, less than 10 min from airport(1 or 2 beds) -Friendly, Helpful staff and ownership -Clean, No frills room -Hot shower -Privacy window shades -Good A/C -Working TV -Working fridge and microwave Above and beyond: -Free shuttle to airport from 9-5:30am(shuttle driver is the sweetest woman) -Free coffee every morning in the office -FiOS cable with all the channels -Right next door to a 24 hour gas station with snacks, hot food and cheap breakfast sandwiches. I work in Houston a few days at a time 3x a month, and stay here every time. The owner owner is a good, honest man. I will continue to stay here every time I am in town.

This motel is old and not very well kept, the window curtains were hanging and missing a couple of hooks, but most important. The door SECURITY LOCK was broken, I had to put a chair up to the door. However, it was as clean as it could be with now roaches or other bugs. Lastly, one of the staff members was so incredibly rude that not only will I never stay there again, but I would not recommend this place. The only good thing here is how close it is to the airport. DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHOTOS ONLINE.... They are NOT accurate.

Really awful motel, do not stay here. The whole place felt very unsafe with random guys hanging about in the parking lot and some stray dogs around, I felt scared to stay there. The man on reception was friendly and kind, but seeing that he locked himself into the reception area at night made me extra nervous about the area. Everything in the room was either broken or dirty, including the sheets and towels - see photos. Not at all worth the money (or any money in fact) - 0/5 experience.
