We checked into our first floor room and I noticed a unique design on the “black-out curtain”. I moved closer to inspect and realized that it was worn through spots that made it possible to see into the room from the parking lot. As a woman traveling with a child, I was extremely uncomfortable. I returned to the front desk to ask to be moved to another room on a higher floor. We went to the next room, it is my practice to always check the bed. I have worked in the hospitality industry before and know that bed bugs are a risk when you travel. I was upset to find the bed spread was dirty. K immediately called my travel agent to find another hotel for our three night trip. I was told that the hotel canceled my reservation but would charge me for that evening! I will be calling the General Manager on Monday to escalate my complaint. This was a major inconvenience to find another hotel on a holiday weekend because the hotel was not properly managed.

The lobby looks nice, as does the hallways. The rooms are cheap and lack maintenance. Ours had a broken toilet seat and missing tiles. Nasty looking showerhead. The washcloths are almost threadbare. Breakfast is basic - cereal, toast and waffles. No butter, no hot breakfast. Jams and unlabeled stuff in homemade squeeze bottles. Only pink and sugar sweetener. Very very cheap. Comfort brand has gotten worse. I wouldn't stay here again, and it's hotels like this one that seriously has me questioning their standards. I'd rather stay at another chain in the future.

I needed one closer to all the action in Houston. It was out of the way though and only a 20 min drive to all the action!! I was nervous due to the reviews. The food was good each am considering it is free/worked into our fees. The beds were firm and comfortable all at the same time. The suite was clean. The hotel staff was friendly and took care of our needs while there.

I have stayed at this location twice before and had no real issues. The breakfast is not the best but fills the hole. Usually not really hot and sometimes even cold eggs, sausage, and hash brown patties. Anyways, this visit was not acceptable. My first night there the fridge in my room was making a loud vibrating noise. In the morning I informed the manager and he said he would get it taken care of. That evening when I got back, the fridge was still making noise with no message as to the issue or a resolution. I went down and asked the evening desk clerk about it. He said he would have to contact the maintenance man about it. He called me later and said the compressor was bad. He wanted me to pack all my things, move to a different room, and re-unpack instead of changing out the fridge. I refused to go through all that when they could have easily swapped out the fridge. Also, I know the compressor wasn't bad as the unit was getting cold and if you put pressure on the side of the unit the noise would stop. So I unplugged the unit and stayed there a week without the use of a fridge. I also feel I should have had a message or something about the fridge instead of having to go ask about it. There was no followup by management or anything. My next complaint about this visit was the happy hour they have on monday through friday evenings from 5-7. On tuesday and wednesday I get back to the hotel at 5:45 pm. I went to get some of the food and it was all gone. There was a group of workers staying there that got there early and took all the food with no concern for others. When I asked the evening desk clerk if they were going to put out more food, he just smiled and said it was all gone. This person was very unprofessional in many ways. I had two people in town that I was working with that after telling them of my first 2 stays here were going to move to this hotel. After my issues, they stayed at their other hotels and will not consider this location on future visits. My manager also took this location off our company list of places to stay when we travel to houston. So as you can tell, I will not be staying here again. And just for the record, I only had an issue with the evening desk clerk, all others I encountered were very professional, friendly, and helpful. I rated staff as fair only based on this one person, but shouldn't have given him that good...

I was very pleased with the service offered at this location. I recently took a trip to see one of my best friends from college and just returned home today. The accomodations were good and had affordable pricing. I did use Expedia for a better deal. It came with free parking, Continental breakfast, and free WiFi. The breakfast was a little different each day but you can make your own Texas shaped waffle in their waffle iron. Usually had cereal, toast, and eggs, sausage, or pancakes with a juice dispenser and tea/coffee. I had an excellent King Size bed and there was a small exercise area that really just had treadmills available. Unsure if the dumbbells were just stored away or if they put them up. Pool was closed since it is fall now. Hotel is near a few fast food restaurants to try but since it's in Houston, you are going to need a car to get to the fancier restaurants that meet your taste buds. Luckily it is right by the Sam Houston Tollway for easy interstate access. If you plan on staying longer than a few days and using a rental car, make sure it comes with EZ tag. If you're using your personal vehicle and don't have a tag then they will be mailing you an invoice soon from what I understand. And there are a plethora of tolling tag cameras between entry and exit ramps and no cash option, so beware. The only slight hiccup I had was my first night where the toilet lever was so rusted that it broke when I went to flush but, it was an immediate fix the next morning as the front desk staff put in the maintenance order as soon as I told them about it. So all in all I would stay here again and if you're really looking for something with accommodating staff, relaxing, and won't break the bank, then this is designed to fit your needs. The place is also non-smoking in its entirety, had about three floors with the ice machine on the third floor, good elevator access, and the rooms come with a fridge, microwave, ice bucket, coffee pot, soap and shampoo, electric hair dryer, 3 lamps, alarm clock, sofa, A/C, tv with direct TV for cable, iron and ironing board, clothing closet, telephone with night stands, and a main dresser. For those who have kids, it should accommodate them as well. They had a baseball team at around junior highschool level so it should just be a nice area to relax...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Comfort Suites, and I must say, it was an absolute gem that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The combination of a truly comfortable bed and an exceptional breakfast made my stay an unforgettable experience.

Let's start with the beds. The moment I sank into the mattress, I was enveloped in a cocoon of comfort. It was as if the stresses of the day melted away, and I was transported to a world of tranquility. The quality of the bedding, the plush pillows, and the attention to detail in creating a restful sleep environment were truly commendable. After a full day of exploring the city, sinking into that bed was like a warm embrace that recharged my body and soul.

But it wasn't just the bed that stole the show; the breakfast at the Comfort Suites was equally remarkable. Each morning, I eagerly made my way to the dining area, knowing that I was in for a treat. The breakfast spread was a feast for the senses. From a delightful array of bread and pastries to a selection of locally sourced fruits.

What made the breakfast experience even better was the ambiance of the dining area. Whether I chose a cozy corner with a view or a communal table to chat with fellow travelers, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. The attentive staff added to the overall charm, ensuring that every need was met with a smile.

The combination of the incredibly comfortable bed and the delectable breakfast truly elevated my stay at the Comfort Suites. It's rare to find a hotel that excels in both aspects with such finesse. I left them feeling not only rejuvenated but also grateful for the wonderful experience I had.

If you're seeking a hotel that offers a haven of comfort with a breakfast that's a culinary delight, look no further than this place. The dedication to providing a memorable stay is evident in every detail, from the cozy beds to the mouthwatering breakfast offerings. My heartfelt thanks to the entire team for making my stay so exceptional. I can't wait to return for another...
