Very good campground. Potable water by the host station and the pavilion is nice for kids to play on. Close to Houston Three Bears and Miller's Market for things you may need or have forgotten. River runs through the camp and is very pretty. Definitely would recommend.

We checked out the sites before and we paid before getting out of the truck. Despite the site being cute, as soon as we step out there is a tsunami of Mosquitoes. And while I am use to a certain amount of bugs being covered as soon as you leave the vehicle is unreasonable. Within the allotted hour, we tried nock on the camp host who isnt there because he works full time untill 5pm, so he isnt truly a camp host. We found this out when we called the city hall to try and get our 20$ back for the site and the first person tried to tell us they don't have a return policy. Then the second person told us we would have to wait till 5 pm, When the "host" gets off his full-time job. They should have just honored it and refunded us then gotten it from the box. thats Not good business practices. And the need to clean up there dead fall inside the camp spots and spray...

I love this campground. It used to be my go to especially when the children were small. I like the way that it is set up in small circles so you can put your whole group in one area and the kids have a safe place to sort of run around or ride bikes sight to site without too much concern for traffic. They also have a small playground on one side and a large play area on the other which allows adults only trips to not have to camp right up against the children's playground which i Appreciate highly. The river is a short five minute walk away and close enough to get dinner back to the campfire before you can even get it hot. I would like to see them expand with some larger rv pull through spaces and hook ups but I can't complain. Also some of their cooking grates need to be replaced as we had to find a different sight this time because we weren't able to...

Loved camping here. $15 per night. Spaced out camping spots (somewhat away from "neighbors" around you) , and bathrooms available. Kids play park on site. 10-15 min walk to the river. Quiet even though it is close to the road. There were a lot of ATVs going around, but even on Memorial Day weekend, everyone obeyed the quiet hours: 10pm-8am. Remember to bring firewood, no tree cutting allowed there. Miller's Market ice cream down the road is YUMMY. Campground "F2" had a very nice spot for our tent. We want to try out the campground next to the...
