Quality Inn & Suites Howe - Sturgis — Hotel in Howe

This hotel is dated. Many locks on the door broken.... Including mine, and the staff had to manually let you in with a key that only they could have. Very inconvenient. Only two pillows on the bed, and water ran from the bathroom sink the whole time, the toilet was broken loose from the floor. On the bright side, there was a brand new big screen TV with even the stickers and plastic still on it... But nothing to navigate the use of it. The common area and the breakfast area were limited with seating and dated as well. The best compliment I could give, would be the front desk staff. They were super friendly and accommodating. I just believe that the Choice Hotel company needs to step up their game as most of their hotels are really falling short on cleanliness and updating, making it to the point where I would rather not stay in their hotels anymore. Nice Hotel/Motel, but was very disappointed about no place to put a suitcase down, no place to hang my clothes, no coat hangers, , missed the plastic bag for dirty clothes, and of course the breakfast could have been better, I can appreciate all businesses need to cut corners to show a little better margin in their operation, but the items I mentioned seem to be like essentials in my traveling. Whomever decided that this is the new norm in traveling for consumers , should revisit their school of thought. I believe most good travelers would pay an extra $5,00 dollars than miss the items I mentioned,

Well as an overall hotel it was worth the price and it was a nice place to stay... The only thing that brought the score down like it did was the fact that the coffee pot in my room was not all there as a complete whole unit and it was extremely dirty and nasty inside where the water goes into the machine... Took it to the front desk and showed the desk clerk and she was Right on top of replacing it for me and even apologized for it...
