I must begin with how every single employee here depicts the warm-hearted hosting we thrive on when traveling. Despite the masks, you can also see the warm smile in their eyes which is most comforting.
As a landlord, I simply cannot imagine the feat of trying to please everyone staying on your premises. It's always going to be something with someone, especially in such unprecedented times.
That's why rather than complaining, I only wish to highlight the areas of concern in hopes of having a better experience next time.
Rooms: Bathroom
We asked for a handicap accessible room for my 90 y/o mom. Quite difficult to use a toilet so low to the ground and the bar on the side of her paralysis. It was literally impossible to use, therefore we will bring a bedside potty (3-in-1) next time.
The tub bench was so nice yet again, not user friendly as water could not stay in the tub, hence water everywhere causing floor mat to be drenched and a slippery floor. We will remedy this with a regular room and use her 3-in-1 in the regular shower. However, risk of falling into glass doors is a major concern so I would never recommend a disable person doing this without standby assistance.
Lighting and using electrical outlets were awkward as main switch inside entry door controls all outlets so cannot pick and choose which lights/lamps you would like to use. We wanted to read at night and couldn't due to this odd wiring awhile my Mom sleeping.
KEYS WERE A NIGHTMARE. We probably had to rekey 8-10times as the new system was faulty. Wendy saved us as she brought her entourage of security to get me back into my mom's room as I got locked out due to the key failing again, ery grateful! She explained it was due to it being deadbolted from the inside which I felt 99.9%certain was not the case as my sister and I rotated taking care of her. Sure enough, security knocked loud enough for my deaf mother to hear, got in and the door was not deadbolted. This unfortunate ordeal cause several anxiety attacks throughout our stay but we were graciously assisted every time, just look forward in not having this situation next time.
There was horrible, stomping, thumping and door slamming going on all night but resorted to it given it was a Friday night. However, next time we will complain as sleep is necessary for the designated drivers.
Firehouse Family Diner was struggling, very understaffed or maybe slammed before we got there as it wasn't packed. Then I became terribly ill/sick to my stomach after the seafood platter, not sure what that was about but just now feeling better.
Casino: Getting answers for comps was most confusing. Seems all other casinos we have visited have one pit boss who answers for hotel and food comps. This presented another problem as we had to leave our table to get answers. Would love to see this become a one "pit stop" shop!
The Cove This place is the bomb, excellent food, reasonable and super sweet girls waiting on us.
That's it, am sure that's enough! Thank you all for what you do, giving us an opportunity for a couple of mental health days by keeping your work environment clean and safe for our sanity and fun!

Read moreThe problem was not the casino. The problem was the restaurant. Chophouse. I have no idea where they get all these great reviews. I had the worst service ever. Our entrees were all incorrect. Our food was not served together. We can never find our waitress to get refills. We had no utensils to start with. Before the mill ended I was in an argument with my family over the fact that I was letting them know that I was very displeased with the service and the quality of the food. This was not a low end restaurant with minimal pricing. This was a steakhouse with prices that created an expectation of good service and quality food. I received neither. Even though I gave a $10 tip and paid for my food it set there on the table and was never eaten. Only one of the four of us ate their food. I've never been so disgusted and infuriated in my life over horrendous service and then arguing with my family because I made a point to let the restaurant know that their service was horrendous. My family member said this is what you get in Oklahoma! I disagree. Either step up your game or lower your prices and turn your restaurant into a burger joint. Why you're only open Thursday Friday and Saturday makes no sense. But after eating your food or attempting to eat your food I can understand why you're only open a few days a week. Hopefully, you will go out of business and they will put an establishment in there that serves quality food and great service for the prices that you charge. I do not recommend this restaurant and will never step foot in there again! We paid our excessive bill and left the restaurant without eating our food or finishing our drinks. Our waitress was horrible and the chef needs to get his keys get in this car and go home!!!! 🤬 I do want to say that everyone that we encountered at the casino was very friendly even though we never ended up using the casino machines. We met a gentleman in the parking lot when we were getting out of our car who was extremely friendly and drove us to the front door in a mini bus. I have no issues with the hotel or the casino. My issue is with the chop House restaurant. I said it once and I'll say it again. The food and the service was horrible. You people that are giving them 4 & 5 stars. You obviously haven't eaten in a quality restaurant before or received quality...
Read moreStandard old style Casino resort. Newer slot machines. Decor is older. Smell a little musty. Did not detect oxygen being pumped in like most casinos do, I like the oxygen gives you a boost. You can sign up for their players card and get free $10 credit. **Smoking throughout the resort except one small area with slot machines, your room. The rest is smoking. If you have asthma or allergies do not go. If you smoke this is the place for you. **Water pressure was very low. **The Resort website boasts the East Tower recently renovated but the carpet and furniture was very worn, had an older shower /tub combo w a shower curtain not as advertised. (photos included) **This Resort price gouges on Friday -Sunday charging 3x the normal rate. Definately not worth the price. ** We prepaid for a Deluxe King Room West Tower online. We arrived the front desk at checkin refused to give us the room we paid for. Put us in the older East Tower ( definitely not renovated fully) in a regular King room. Claimed the resort was fully booked and our room, that we paid for in advance, was not available. Politely said our other choice is we could cancel if we didn’t like it. We also had tickets to see a show the same night and we drove 7 hours. Headliner was Rob Schneider. The clerk told us to contact the 3rd party we reserved the room through. Front desk clerk doubled down & said we should have reserved directly with the resort. Why? We paid for it when we booked. Hello? We called the service we used online, Priceline. They called the resort front desk and the front desk told Priceline we could have the West Tower deluxe king room for an up-charge. Wait…. What??! Aren’t they unavailable. The front desk clerks, all 3, got upset stating notes were being added to their reservation on their pc. Through corporate? Do not know they did not expand on it. Possibly Priceline because of them failing to honor a prepaid booking? They did not like it though. The greed is just astonishing at this resort. Priceline gave us a discount when the hotel refused to honor our prepaid booking. Good...
