Disappointed. Check-in process on-site for camping was below expectations. I booked 1 site on-line and in the reservation put 2 people and 2 vehicles. I paid with my credit card, however on arrival at the park, they said we owed another $30/night for the second vehicle. The manager lady said "it's buried in the fine print".

Shower code was supposed to be written on the back of our windshield label they gave us at check-in. They forgot to do this. We tried calling the check-in desk to get the code but no one ever answered the phone. So no shower day 1 until we walked to the desk to get the code (the one they forgot to give us).

The park itself is incredible busy with boaters and ATV-type vehicles If you are looking for quiet, this isn't the place. If you want to swim, the lake has the "itch". If you have a humongous toy-hauler that carries your boat and ATV, this is the...

I stayed 3 nights here in a tent and I have quite a few notes. For starters, the gates are closed from 10pm-6am and you are not allowed to get in during those hours. The fact that I had a reservation and was paying $50 per night yet was not allowed to drive to my site for a third of the day was astonishing. I arrived back one evening at 11pm and had to park on the side of the highway and walk over half a mile back to my site. Absolutely ridiculous. Another problem with these hours is that people blatantly disrespect quiet hours because there is no one around to enforce the rules. There is a heavy ATV presence here and I was awoken multiple times in the middle of the night by people riding them very fast past my site. The campground bathrooms are comparable...

Such a beautiful place to stay. We have stayed here multiple times and our experience was always great. You have 360 views of the lake and mountains from the campground. The staff are all very nice and accommodating to your individual camping needs. We love camping here since you get access to the lake and ohv areas while you stay. There are plenty of off road trails near the campground. It is a great campground if you want peace and quiet. Each spot is far from the one next to it so there is no need to worry about being to close to your neighbors. The restrooms are spotless and conveniently located around the campground. It is always a great time there and we will be looking forward to...

My husband and I full time and stayed here for almost a week in november. We love the set up of this campground and wish more were like it. Each site was easy to access and it felt like we had privacy. The lake is beautiful to paddle around and our dog loved exploring the little trails. The only weird little quirk was the showers, every 30 seconds or so they shut off and you have to hit the button again, but the restrooms were clean and I know the button is just to conserve water, so yay for water conservation. We will definitely stay here again on our way back north in the spring.

This area is so peaceful. The view is amazing. Very clean and has it's own grill and gazebo and bench. If you want to camp and relax this place is it. If you want to go to the lake its walking distance. You can fish with license of course and if you have your own side by side 4wheeler u can take it up the sand dunes. Or you can rent one by the lake or a boat as well. Amazing place.
