Vento/Sunset Motel — Hotel in Hutchinson

This motel is amazing JOHN is the best! The name is kind of confusing because you google vento hotel but the signs say sunset hotel but they are the same place. John got us a great room we were in Kansas for a funeral and he upgraded us to a suite He was super nice even walked us to the room showed us around asked if we needed anything even chairs to sit outside. Him and my husband walked around the property and he was telling him how he has put his life savings into this hotel and he takes great pride in this business and it definitely shows. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in a motel. Very cheap. It’s in a weird spot so when we were driving to it we were kinda weary about where it is located but turned out to be the best. We read a ton of reviews on all the motels in Hutchinson and this is the only one with good reviews no bugs very clean great service! Every time we come to Hutchinson we will for sure get a room at this motel! Wish I could give 10 stars! If I could change anything it would be More pillows you only get one per bed and there is no coffee pot in the room But those are just details not anything that...

Everytime we've stayed at the Vento hotel, it's always a wonderful experience. The nightly/weekly rates are better than any other hotel in Hutchinson. John, the gentleman who manages the hotel, he's always been so kind and extremely helpful. He has always gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Anytime we needed anything, he would take care of it right away. The beds are very comfortable, our rooms included a full size refrigerator and microwave, strong Wi-Fi connection, cable TV with plenty of movie channels and laundry facilities available for guests to use. Booked the room for 2 nights, the front desk lady was nice but didn't speak English, the room seemed nice at first, about 4 hrs into it I noticed a bug crawling on the bed, I asked my husband what is that? He said I think it's a begbug. I tripped out went to office no answer they close at 12 came back to room ripped bed apart and there were a bunch of bugs.. we didn't even sleep we just left I had surgery at 6 in the morning on the 21st as it was so we just spent night in the car.
