I do not rate parks but being so new/few reviews I offer my observations. Chose over others for location - day trips to Austin, Waco, Hill Cntry.
Webster describes "Resort" as a desired luxury destination unto itself (not depend solely on area attractions) for relaxation, socialization, activities & amenities. 3 yrs rving coast-coast found few rv "resorts" that meet the definition. This one coming close but not there yet.
Pro - It's new/clean/modern as open a month. Concrete road/level pads oddly shaped. Wide sites. Gounds groomed but only sapling trees, lacks landscaping/adornments so feels sterile. Fire ring w/ cook grate. A few buddy sites, many park homes overlook woods/creek (no such view 4 rvs). Nice meeting rooms. Trail, beautiful pool/community area, bocce/volley (h-shoe/suffle coming), pavillion, fire pit & grill. Fishing. Dog wash. Occupied sites tidy w/ maintained rv's (age lmtd). Felt safe. Near Hutto for all needs.
Con - Back-in pad notched for grassy spot. Depending rig door location constantly step onto grass & track dirt-cut grass into rv, no covering grass w/ rug/door mat. Pull-thru entry skirt narrow. Big rigs cause mud wallow, exit is wider. NO CABLE. My tv 20 ovr-air sta. only 4 w/ stable signal. Need satellite or install/sign up streaming apps for EACH broadcaster/local network on smart tv's or Roku type box via park hi capacity internet. Shower/laundry (3 wash/dry) bldg near end of park. Long walk for some. Currently no excise rm due Covid. Near train track.
At it's current stage I feel day/wk rate very high compared to resort parks stayed at near Houst & San Anton TX for 35% less with snack b'fast, activities, snack bar, had attractive grounds, lake/river view & cable.
Manager very nice, made extra effort to find way to watch tv as I not equipped/tech savvy for internet only tv access. During stay no park social activities, likely due to covid/low occupancy being new. Currently as rv park 4.5 (cost & cable) as a...
Read moreWe took our rv here for Easter weekend it was 3 days. It was a rainy day and we thought it would ruin our trip. We were ready for mud but it i but it was paved. If you want clean, entertainment this is your place to be. There was NO TRASH on the property and they pick up your trash every morning. If you want professional, friendly people this is the place for you and your family. Crystal was on point she's an amazing manager. Lolly, Tonya, Amy, Robin were all great as well. They all work together to get things done. They have entertainment scheduled online. They have a large pool, covered playground, hot tub, cabins. Volleyball, yard games. It is something for the whole family to do here. My grandkids met the owner of Redbud Ranch during the activities. The kids enjoyed the park and thought that this the best park we've visited. It was activities every hour rain didn't stop them. They have full hookup for your rv, the water is hot not like some other places where the water gets cold during your shower. It is beautiful landscape. They have a store. Walmart, HEB are a few minutes away. It's really great to experience a place like this no complaints. I plan to go back during the summer. Price is affordable. You need to stop reading this review and check it out for yourself. Seeing is believing. Thank everyone at...
Read moreI recently stayed at Redbud RV Resort in Hutto, TX, and I must say it was a delightful experience. Having previously visited Schatzieland in San Marcos and Firefly Resort in Fredericksburg this month, I can confidently compare them. Redbud Resort is clean and quiet, other than the frequent trains. The serene atmosphere allowed for a peaceful stay. The RV sites were level and paved, making setup a breeze. The manicured grass and new trees added to the overall appeal. The resort boasts a clean pool and a large, inviting hot tub. The staff diligently cleaned picnic tables around the pool and throughout the RV area. Redbud offers a spacious dog park where our pets can play freely. The resort’s proximity to the river provides a refreshing escape and scenic views. During our stay, a food trailer came out for the eclipse, adding a unique touch to our experience. The staff members were welcoming and accommodating, enhancing our overall enjoyment. The RV sites were well-spaced, ensuring privacy and comfort. My one dislike was their use of dynamic pricing I recommend Redbud RV Resort as a top-notch destination. Whether you’re in a motorhome or another type of RV, you’ll find a welcoming and enjoyable stay here. Happy...
