Just returned from Antlers and we had a great time! Great location, amazing views, large private dock with covered boat slips, and only going to get better as the outdoor swimming pools and other amenities are completed. There are currently 9 or 10 brand new cabins that are very spacious and have a nice modern open Colorado-style feel. Each cabin is a split level... 4 bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Both floors have kitchens and you can rent either floor or the entire cabin. We stayed in the four bedroom downstairs area with a family of 12 and had plenty of room! One of the downstairs bedrooms has 4 bunk beds (a total of 8 beds) and it was great for all the kids. A lot of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms so it still feels quite private even through you are all together. Lots of Huge Smart TVs all around if that appeals to you. The lower level has a foosball table and a nice kitchen area with full size refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, oven, microwave, and sink. The 3 bedroom upstairs level has a massive full size kitchen bigger than you'd find in most houses. The upstairs level also has massive vaulted ceilings and a loft area where most of the beds are located. Certain part of the resort look like something you'd find in a magazine and there are lots of nice little touches that I noticed and appreciated like soft-close cabinet hinges and high-placed shower heads. In addition to the cabins, they also have a large indoor pool area with a huge banquet floor area above, which would be very nice for weddings, reunions, and other events. The indoor pool area is still being worked on but we were able to swim in it and it is very nice. Has a couple of massive glass doors that open to the outside when the weather is nice. The outdoor pools, lazy river, splash pad, etc are all still being constructed but are really going to put this place over the top when they are done. Very excited to see it all come together and very nice accommodations as is. Looking forward to...
Read moreMy family was there over the 4th of July. The views from our deck and the pool were amazing. However the bunk room which had 2 twin beds and 2 twin beds with a trundle bed underneath. First off they had not vacuum under the beds since I'm not sure when. We found scrunchies, fruit loops and paper. Also the trundle beds had no blankets. Just sheets. I texted Kristina in the morning 8:26 am (after the first night of our stay). She said she would look. Then I texted her again later like around 7 pm and no response. We then walked over to the "managers lodge" not sure what it's called and the daughter tried to talk to us through the sliding glass doors. We could not understand what she was saying so she went downstairs and then up to the deck where we were at and talked to us. We told her what we needed and thanked her. The next thing we know Kristina is knocking on our door and accusing us of making her daughter feel scared... My niece who was there said that is not what happened. She then handed the blankets to my niece. Very rude. If the daughter was scared of us why would she come and talk to us. Plus we had a 5 year with us. Really she is scared. Also I was walking on the property and I said hello to Kristina and if looks could kill I would of been dead. You can tell she was not a happy person. Parking.... They have parking behind the pool however if you own a boat you are allowed to take up 5 parking spaces by the pool. Does not make sense. They have parking for boats by the main lodge. In addition to all of this when I called and asked about parking; you are only allowed 2 parking spaces. If you have a family of 17 coming in she asked me why we could not all ride in one car. I guess she did not understand that family was coming from all directions. Customer service...
Read moreOur guest got stung by a2 scorpion. Kept us up all night the first night we were guests there. It was painful for about 2 hours and she felt like she just kept getting stung. We had a Dr and a Nurse Practitioner and 2 other Rns there taking care of her. We had no idea there were scorpions in Branson.
One cabinet door was just ready to fall off. Only 2 wine glasses. No pot holders. No propane tank for the grill. Lots of cobwebs A chair I sat in on the patio should have been thrown away as had a large hole in the seat.
I will say that the owner responded and had a pest control person there the same day. Had repair man there the same day. Delivered more wine glasses and the pot holders very timely.
We decided NOT to grill out as we felt like we had been so needy.
Christine was insensitive at first at our guest getting stung by a scorpion...and gave the attitude that we should have known the Branson had scorpions that are not poisonous
She later refunded one night stay to us which was kind and appropriate as we did not really get any sleep that night.
Lots of the door handles were loose. In the living room there was a piece in the floor that was sticking up. We put a rug over it so noone would get hurt. I could go on. Maybe our family should be the quality control for Antlers Inn. Just kidding...we just wanted a relaxing vaca.
The pool is great. However, the last day we were there the kiddie splash area did not work. After all this.. we said we are ok. Just glad we were alive and loved being with family.
We can laugh at this and I think we will remember this...
