Well, for the price this place fit our family, put us close to the action of Branson and was close to the lake. We enjoyed the forested area and that the A-frame we stayed in could have slept 3 couples easily. ||The lights weren't on at night and my wife fell down some stairs. She was ok but the next night: my 70 year old mother in law fell off a 3 foot retaining wall. She broke her elbow and will need surgery. This could have been avoided if the lights had been on. We called management to let them know and to suggest installing lights for safety. We were disappointed in their response when they said it was an accident, wasn't their fault, and were purely defensive not even asking if she was ok... Sad. Also, the next night.. lights were on! Turned out they had them the whole time just weren't turned on!||||Night one in our A-frame I saw a mouse (he ran across my son, wife and my feet lol). I figured it was a cabin in the forest so.. I let it go. Daily, things started disappearing and we realized the mouse was back. We called the management who proved 4 glue traps. I set them out and in 15 hours we had caught 4 mice... So... There were more than we thought. Kind of nasty we weren't able to let our 9 month old crawl around out of fear of the mice and the wonderful things they bring with. Management apologized when we told them what happened... That's it lol so as much as I liked the price, location and pool.. I just don't know if I'd want to stay here again. ||||Lessons learned for the owners: act like a human when someone is hurt. Just apologize or ask if they're ok.. I'm sure lights couldn't be that expensive to install, and can you really put a price on safety? Be proactive when sealing holes and setting traps to bar non paying...
Read moreI stayed with my family of 4 the last week of September for 2 nights. The A frame was perfect for my husband and I, as well as our 2 year old and 5 year old, though we did discuss caution when using the stairs to the loft area. There was public access to Table Rock all around, and it was a 5 minute walk on a bit of a climb, doable, but definitely made a person consider driving the car and parking it by the water (if parking allowed). In terms of the cabin- it was cozy, but my kids loved it, we didn't necessarily feel cramped. It had the necessities we needed with plenty of pots, dishes, and cups. The cabin itself is a little worn on the inside, but for the price, it is senseless to complain. (you may want to bring your own grill if you plan on grilling- grill is provided but a little on the rough side) The outside was beautiful- when the sun set and rose. Our kids preferred being down by the water than any other attractions that Branson had to offer, which also made it worth our money. Aframe 1 had a beautiful view/ deck view of the lake and trees beyond it. The staff was extraordinarily nice and despite our late arrival and locking ourselves out once, they were always very accommodating. Before we left, we had already discussed making this specific spot our little family vacation destination until our kids can endure...
Read moreStayed two weeks ago in C6. Cabin was nice enough, big and AC was ice cold, but cleaning after previous was a joke. Kitchen pans were in cabinet with grease in between them from use, coffee maker was molding from old coffee/filter in it. Not a fully stocked kitchen as stated either, nothing use on BBQ to cook with, tough to do with forks and whisk.Needs some TLC, as flooring in bathrooms is peeling up from tubs, no water out of kitchen sink as aerator was plugged solid (removed). Property was decent, told pool would be ready when made reservations in July, not even close, looks like it wouldn’t be ready until next July. Boat dock ok but couldn’t use ramp to put in pontoon boat as it was too narrow and not enough angle, truck was under water before we were even close enough to let it off trailer. Had to drive around and find marina to pay and drop it. Wont stay again until...
