The lady at the front desk (can’t remember her name) but she was sweet and helpful I called her my problem solver. But that’s where the good ends.
July 2025 I stayed here for a business event. I had four rooms three for my contractors and one for me. Two of the rooms had issue with the AC. Mine would not stay on more that two mins at a time. The other just did not work and the front fell off the unit. Her room was 77 degrees in July humidity. The next day the AC is fixed and the rest of the stay goes on just fine.
Weds the following week after all is done. I get a call informing me about Bed Bugs in room 427. So I go between my contractor and the Hotel trying to figure out a solution. They put my contractor in touch with “insurance” to take care of her. But when I try to get compensation for this as it’s a stressful event and makes my company look bad as I chose the Hilton not to mention I take care of my people so whatever insurance does not pay. I’m going to take care of them.
Instead of giving a refund. Customer service wants to give me Hilton honors points. I said I don’t want that I need actual compensation. I’m told only the hotel can give a refund.
So I contact Anthony the General manager and my point of contact for this whole ordeal. It’s like pulling teeth. He only then gave a partial refund for one day of the room and it was because of the AC. As it’s “below their standards” well what about “bug activity” in the bed? I was literally told hey our pest control found activity but we can’t identify it.!!!Never heard that and sounds like a cover up to me
Long story short I still don’t have a refund and I will never stay at a Hilton again. I will take my company elsewhere. I have also opened a dispute with my credit card company because this is damaging and costly...

The rooms were clean, which was a plus, but smell musty, like dampness from the ac units. The front desk staff was helpful at switching my room, and offering me free breakfast for the trouble, but the next one still had the same issue.
I picked the HGI because I didn't have transportation for the night and thought their restaurant would be decent. One of the guests told me the salmon was dry and the veggies didn't have any seasoning, so I got the pasta Primavera and added steak. The steak was not what I imagined. It was like a steak-um, shaved dried out meat. The veggies and sauce were like the frozen, microwavable packs at the grocery store with the watered down cheese sauce. I also ordered fried pickles and got ranch on the side... I'm sensitive to spice, so I thought a different sauce would be the answer, but the pickles themselves were too spicy to eat. I sent them back, but was still billed.
The bartender was clearly overwhelmed with the 10 guests he was serving and service was suffering as a result. He seemed to be having a tough night.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience...
Read moreDrove into Indy during a snowstorm. We arrived and were hungry. Went to the hotel restaurant and they had 2 people working in the restaurant. It was utter chaos. We went somewhere else. Upon returning to our room we noticed that the tv wasn’t working. I called the front desk and was told that the batteries for the remote were probably dead. I was asked if I could come down to the desk for the batteries. I replaced the batteries on the rooms tv remote and it still didn’t work. Another dead remote was tried and the batteries had to be changed. The remote worked on the tv in the hotel lobby. Unfortunately it didn’t work in the room. I called the front desk again and was told I would have to change rooms. I informed the he clerk that my wife was in the shower and getting ready for bed. We had an early flight and needed to get some sleep. We wanted to watch the weather and to check to see if our flight would be delayed or cancelled. Numerous emails to Hilton were needed in Oder to receive any form of resolution. Not happy with their customer service anymore. They use to have great customer service.
