We came here only for breakfast. I was considering staying here since I often go to vieques but I wasn’t very convinced overall. From the outside and overall display of the hotel, it looked a bit different than what I expected. More opened maybe. The rooms, which I could see from the path to our airbnb, appear a bit overpriced due to the lack of AC, but there aren’t too many options in vieques.
It is a very cute boutique hotel overall. The wooden floor and walls give a warm ambiance, and it is tastefully decorated. They have a little shop too with a few books, jewelries, clothes.
The breakfast is vegan. I thought all of their patisseries were a way too sweet unfortunately. For example, the pistachio cookie wouldn’t even taste like pistachio anymore because of how sweet it was. Carrot cake was probably the best I’ve tried but not great. Meals are okay, I’ve tried much better vegan food, but it is difficult in vieques to get that many ingredients. I wasn’t thrilled by the breakfast overall, especially for the price they charge.
The ambiance is really nice if you like yoga and my friend absolutely loved the yoga class she had at 8am.
The location is a bit far from other things, you’ll need a little car. Unless you want to stay at the hotel only, but it would be a shame because vieques has a lot to offer.
There weren’t too many mosquitos around when we went. They have 3 big dogs off-leashed dogs. It is ok if you like dogs. I was bothered however by them coming constantly to our airbnb next door, trying to break in our home all of the time to the point we had to block every single entrances. It’s ok to let your dogs off leash on your property as long as they don’t invade the neighborhood’s. Just gate around..

It’s a 3 for me but If you are vegan and into yoga, this probably would be a...
Read moreNot that I've stayed everywhere in Vieques but I'd say this is the best place available, based on my experience!
I give it 5 stars just for the yoga class with Sylvia, the owner, who is fantastic in all she does. You can tell her passion/love for PR, her projects, people and the world, and it was a gift to take her class, and it just adds such meaning to Finca.
I'm so proud of this Puerto Rican owned treasure. Makes a good name of PR tourism. From the get go we were warmly welcomed by Valeria and other staff members. The whole design of the place, and style, is gorgeous, bohemian, natural, soothing. A very cute shop with high quality, locally made products with an honesty policy— ósea, the owner trusts her guests to pay for what they use and charges at the end! I ended up buying a new yoga outfit :) really good quality material and they were selling la gotta swimsuits made of recycled materials, a Pr brand I really admire.
Great vegan snacks and breakfast. The rooms are very cute - though if I were to return I would do my best to get a second floor/elevated room rather than garden level, and particularly the newer structures (they werent available) bc my only complaint was that it got very humid in the garden level room without air flowing through it, and there were bugs of course, that is expected -- so i didnt sleep great initially and I missed out on yoga cause I was grouchy. But once we got AC it helped alot and I slept a lot better! I also felt odd going to the restroom in the back as people walking by could see me and sometimes I like to...not wear clothes jajaja-- but again, those are not really complaints, the room was aesthetically gorgeous (can’t find a picture :( ) , and the little things didn’t take away from the amazing vibes.
I would recommend Finca Victoria to anyone, and I wish I had stayed there my entire stay rather than going to a "fancier" beachside place that truly didn't hold a candle to Finca in terms of...

Hurricane Maria literally destroyed a lot of businesses in Puerto Rico. Hotel Finca Victoria was one of them. The owner couldn’t or didn’t want to repair anything, and decided to sell the property. @silvia_demarco - hotelier, who gave this place a new breath. And let me tell you, she did a great job. Once you first step in - you feel relaxed and calm. I mean, it’s really almost impossible to feel stressed in Vieques, but here it’s just a different level of relaxation. Start your day with yoga by the pool surrounded by palm trees and birds singing, have a light breakfast, and let all molecules of bad energy leave your body. Lovely staff and 3 super cute dogs will help you with that. This is what @finca_victoria is all about. Rustic style high end deep relaxation. Keep it up guys!
