This is a basu campground with no amenities. It us full hookups, but on some sites the sewer is at the very back of the pad and could be a long way from the RV hookup. Also, some sites are short and might be difficult to get into if the park were full.

That being said, it is still a nice park, sitting on a bluff directly above the lake. The biat ramp is wide and gently sloping with plenty of parking. The hosrs are friendly and helpful.

We were there in a 30-foot 5th wheel and were one of only 4 campers there so we felt very isolated, which is nice. If full the sites are wide enough that you would not feel like your neighbor was in your door.

Be aware thst the water hookuos are below ground level. Because of the recent rsins, we had to fig down several inches to find our water connection.

I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone who doesn't need or want the feel of a...

This is a really nice campground. I stopped in-rout for an overnight stay. Most campgrounds like this have their regulars and this one was no different. I was greeted by a couple of guys in a golf-cart who made sure I got into the campsite and informed me of the services and a little about the park. It looked like a nice destination but I will definitely plan this stop on my rout to and from Ga in the future. Its about 8 miles off of Hwy 72 but I would recommend this place any time.

Update: The park is under new management and the old side of the park has been upgraded. The new host is doing a fantastic job of keeping the park clean and the bath house is spotless and well stocked. This is my favorite stop in place when I travel across the south and for a base camp when meeting up with friends or family for...
