Moose River Lodge & Motel — Hotel in Jackman

Wow!!! The nicest owners you will meet! Kim and Shaun are some of the best people to stay with! How accommodating and willing to help, two wonderful people that genuinely care!!!!! Our room was clean and ready upon arrival, had all accommodations in room, if needed anything (from a bandaid - toilet paper - to towels to clean off snowmobiles etc) they were extremely attentive!! Broke my snowmobile and didn’t know what I was going to do!!! With open arms they allowed me to use their garage, turned on the heat and I was able to fix my snowmobile!! The location COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER!!!!!!! Started my snowmobile and drive right on to the trails from their location! The day that we were leaving we wanted to get one more ride in, we were not sure that we would be back for check out so we packed my truck, but they allowed us back into room to change (&etc) before heading home! Thank you to the owners of Moose River Lodge for such wonderful hospitality! We felt welcomed and relaxed here. There is lots to do, hiking and you can rent an ATV just down the road to see the beautiful scenery here, just for example. The lodge also serves great food and has a full bar here too. We had a delicious haddock dinner the evening we arrived, breakfast the next day was tasty and hearty. Best dinner I had in 3 weeks North America! We met Sean, the husband of the owner Kim, in the pub down the road. He told us about the restaurant at their lodge and went there for dinner. The mussels were the best I ever ate, the ribs and lobster role were also amazing. Everyone was really friendly, also a really nice atmosphere to spend the evening.
