Monterey Motel — Hotel in Jacksonville

I kindly asked to be moved to another room. Because the air conditioner wouldn’t stay on that long and they wouldn’t even accommodate me with that so I asked for my money back if they couldn’t move me to another room and then he brought some man smoking cigarettes in my room yelling in my face telling me I couldn’t have my money back. I stayed here last night with no problems with the air conditioner. They were very rude about it and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. Who wants someone keep coming back n forth in the room to get the air to work I’m tired and sleep and look how late it is and I would be reporting them to the better...

This is my second time staying here. The first time it was alright, the TV remote didn't work and I couldn't change the channels so that was a bummer and the floor were kinda dirty so I would give it 3 stars but after choosing to stay here a second time it's 1 star, the TV doesn't work AT ALL, the bed frame is covered in stains and who knows what is on the actual covers, the floors and walls are filthy and there are no outlets even close by the bed if I could rate this any lower i would. If you chose to stay here please avoid room...

We would’ve came out better sleeping in the car🤦🏾‍♀️. The room smelled so horrible and they couldn’t have cleaned it after the previous renters, as there was a partially smoked blunt still in the bathroom. The a/c didn’t start cooling the room until 2 o’clock that morning. We didn’t have any other option that was closer and we had been driving all day. We got our blankets out the car and slept on top of one and covered up with the other. 0/10 will not...
