Flowers Bakery Outlet — Restaurant in Jacksonville

$32 bought 6 packs of snowball cupcakes (that I didn't get) so I can make 2 snowmen on a Christmas cake (along with 4 loaves of Dave's bread @2/$7.00 2 packs of mints and 2 boxes of peanut butter Buddy Bars. I arrived home without my white snowball cupcakes to make the snowmen on the cake. I learned Flowers doesn't take American Express, nor do they accept $50 bills. So I had to run to the car to get an additional $20 so I could pay the $32. When I returned to inside the store, I thought today's clerk bagged all my groceries, Ipaid, didn't get a receipt and left with 2 bags of groceries, NOT KNOWING my white snowball cupcakes weren't in the bags. I don't know if the clerk did it on purpose (to spite bcoz I had to run to the car to get an additional $20 bill bcoz she didn't accept a $50l or was it on accident. Since she didn't give me a receipt, I wonder if it was do e on purpose. Now I don't trust that little clerk. I may just do all my shopping Costco since I no longer trust Flowers Bakery near Arlington on St....

I’m not sure, if anyone knows their breads and the difference between soft or hard. Red stripes should be considered fresh. I bought some bread last week and literally the second day, the bread was hard. I didn't have time to turn in the bread, because I left for Father's Day weekend. I went in today 6.20.2023 4:13pm and asked if they had bread in the back to purchase. I was told no and the same bread from last week was on the shelf to buy that was not soft fresh bread. I guess I'll have to go to Blanding's place to buy, because I have not yet experienced the tainted bread there. I went to Kings Location, of course, because it's closer, but I'm not going to be told that the bread is fresh when I know it's not. I don't have time and I don't have a reason to lie. Very sweet ladies to help you inside of the store. I got ten loaves of Dave's Bread for only $10 because they were part of the manager's special. Lots of parking, though exiting and then turning left onto the main high speed highway was a little confusing and scary because the cars coming from the right don't have a red light when you have a green light turning left, you just have your own turning lane so as not to get hit by them. All good though. Now I'll know...
