Update: After speaking with the manager, we were given one night for free and a credit towards a future stay. The manager also promised to send address the tub as well. So they definitely ended on a positive note!

We’ve stayed here each of the last 5 years. The only reason we come back is because the room is essentially free with the deal we get, and it’s definitely not a roach motel, so why not, right?
Well, there’s also a reason these rooms are so cheap. We’ve had a room where the TV didn’t work at all. We then got switched to a room where the TV worked but the cable box was broken. Luckily I still had the room key to the first room so I swapped them.
We’ve had our reservation lost (luckily we had our confirmation and could prove we had one). We’ve had outlets that didn’t work. Lights that didn’t work.
You name it. I’ve NEVER had an experience here that would be remotely close to acceptable if I were paying a normal rate for this room.
But here I sit in my room (135 in case someone from the resort reads this and actually cares). My kids are in the shower - that has a crack in the bottom where the water is going under it and black mold has already started forming. And the toilet won’t stop running.
And by the way my wife just got off the phone with the front desk. You see, we got back to our room at 4:30pm and it HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED. They said they’d send someone over to address it. When we returned from dinner at 8pm, there was a bag - on the floor in our room - with towels thrown in it.
You got it - nobody even BOTHERED to make our room up! And the front desk told us to “talk to the manager in the morning.”
So much for fixing the problem, right? This is unacceptable at every level. If you get the room for free, then go ahead and take a chance. Why not? It’s a nice mountain and it’s a LOT less crowded than Seven Springs.
And for good reason - the customer service here is deplorable. Bottom line - don’t waste good money coming here.

It took me over two weeks to even get anyone to answer the phone to actually make the reservation..even after leaving several messages. Literally, they don't answer the phone. The front desk is a joke. We walked into the lobby and it smelled like open sewage. Was given a paper to sign and initial without any explanation of what it was...our entire group had issues with the reservation process. I am currently calling the resort (the entire day) to see if anyone turned in or found a lost item and surprise! No one is answering the phone. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
