I am disgusted by this place. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Had to put a star because it makes me but I give it a 0 I walked in and they already gave me an attitude. I said on the phone when I booked the place that I had 4 people and needed two beds. I show up and give them my name and they took FOREVER to find me. Then she said "um excuse me but you have 3 other people so we need to charge you for the 3 other people. So that added on $$$ which was just the first step to this ridiculous place. After 2 hours of being on the phone with who they said we needed to call we finally got the place for "free" little did we know that wasn't the end of it. After that we head into the room and check the place because we want to make sure of the place because it smelt TERRIBLE with a mix of a cigarette smell that we couldn't even be in (no smoking room) and we found ANIMAL POOP. TWO PIECES!! Then we looked around some more and found wrappers, old dried up candy, cig butts, used tissues and so on. So we called the front desk and they refused to come to the room and they told me that "they didn't want to hear from us anymore or problems from us because we got a "free" room" free meaning they didn't charge us for the extra people that we originally said I had. So they hung up on me so I took pics and went to the front desk and this lady I swore turned into the Devil and tried to take my phone from me and screamed GET OUT. And said that I put the stuff in the room? Like are you that crazy lady?! After that we got the parents involved and they wouldn't pick up the phone from them and kept tossing the phone back and forth saying "you answer it, no you answer it" repeatedly!! and I had my phone in my pocket with my mom on the phone and she called us all DUMB teenagers (funny thing is we are adults) and tried to call the police on us. I hope to god this place goes out of business after this because I have never dealt with such a unprofessional person in my life.
Update: Expedia was so pissed that they did this and took them out of their business because they don't want to work with them anymore after the experience that I had and refunded me everything and gave me a gift card for amazon for my trouble. So now they have no way of getting costumers and I hope that place gets shut down. My mom is contacting Days Inn owner Monday to follow up with what is going to happen. I'll try to keep...
Read moreYou get what you pay for. We had been in the car traveling for 10+ hours, and we needed to stop for the night. If it had been my choice, I would have kept going until we found a better place with same or similar rates of $90+. We also have a miniature poodle which only cost us an extra $10 so that was nice. I would not call this a hotel because it is more like a motel. The rooms all have outside access so if I was traveling by myself, I would have found one a bit safer. The people that were also staying in the motel were kind of rough looking too. The room we were in had a smell to it as you opened the door but we were too tired to ask to move so we just dealt with it. The room and bathroom were both tiny. It needs some cosmetic work done for sure. The tile, tub, and even shower curtain were ancient. You could also see where the caulking was old, dirty, and you could tell that it has to leak around it. There are other areas inside where you can tell they've had leaks in the past and didn't do anything to repair it. Probably why when we woke up in the morning all of our allergies were bad from mold or something. The bathroom was hard to maneuver in because of small size, so it took us all quite a long time to dress privately. The duvets and covers did not look clean either. I'm not sure that they washed them between guests. The red cover along the bottom of the bed looked dusty. Since the area around the sink and counter are very small we moved the coffee tray and ice bucket. We found underneath it was like someone had poured a cup of water on the counter. The room also needs more places to plug things in especially near the bed. The pluses was that the price was ok, they had matrix shampoo and conditioner for us, the room was pretty quiet until the next morning, the tv was nice, the little fridge was great, the sink and counter area were nice and updated, and the free breakfast was pretty decent too. The staff was extremely nice and even called about 30 mins after we got into the room to make sure everything was good. It wasn't a horrible experience but it also wasn't the greatest. If push came to shove, I would stay...
Read moreOn Dec 30th traveling from Ohio to Fl our family decided to pull in around 10:30 and get a room we are reward members so we initially booked on the site for a good deal ; However the night desk guy asked us did we pull in as if he already scanned our party and let us know standard occupancy was 2 which we found weird most standard is 4 and it was advertised Queen beds(We really got double beds) and that each person we had additional was $10 each he claimed he gave us a deal however how was it a deal when you didn’t even fit our initial party of 5 in the room and had an attitude about it ! When we got into our room it was clean , Had a safe , fridge and toiletries however we had a hard time keeping the heat on we had to adjust the knob up and down to start the heat up all night and our kids was so tired they didn’t even wanna switch rooms ! We did however let the morning person know at checkout and her country bumpkin a** had an attitude and asked why we didn’t let the staff know well... We didn’t wanna seem like a issue since everyone around her comes with attitude and we weren’t looking for any perks (yea right cause the location is so First Class lol) we just wanted to make them aware before they placed the next tired soul into this remodeled dump! It’s funny because my friend actually works for Hilton in Management so we were beyond disgusted and immediately regretted not driving the additional 45 minutes to the next Hilton property but there again we were tired from working a shift and driving a truck with a trailer ! Let’s work on better customer service and making sure if we are gonna charge for each occupant we actually find a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed . Decent location otherwise ate McDonald’s and refilled at a nearby gas station was the only perks offered at this...
