Caribbean Shores Waterfront Resort CLOSED — Hotel in Jensen Beach

I do not recommend this hotel. Tom the “manager” was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. |We never received any contact from the hotel with information regarding check in. There is not office and I had to walk the premises in hopes of finding this manager Tom, which I did and he just rudely sent me to my room which was just unlocked. It was odd. |Our tv did not work. Tom did not respond to multiple calls and texts regarding the tv. Friends that were also staying here had tvs that did work. |Our room had a musky smell, somewhat mildewy, liking coming from the window unit air conditioner. |There’s no housekeeping, which we may have known, still it should be noted because I felt like our room was not clean upon arrival. There was no way to request more towels, pillows or anything. |The bed was awful. Absolutely cannot believe that we spent money on this hotel and were sleeping on a broken mattress. It dipped in the middle and any movement created squeaking sounds. |Although the view of the water from the back of the hotel is gorgeous, it’s not enough to make me ever want to stay here again. |Check out was just as odd as check in - we were directed to leave our key in the room. That was all. That had me feeling uncomfortable since now any person can just go into the room. But we were eager to leave so we just left the key and the door unlocked as directed by printed instructions in the room. |Safety was somewhat of a concern as well. At midnight one night a man was outside our room talking for 30 minutes. I opened the door and asked him to move or quiet down and he started cussing at me. His wife apologized and took him into their room, still it was beyond uncomfortable. |Again, this...
